It actually screws into the sheath. For maximum retention.I know this has posted before, but still, it baffles me. This knife is solid titanium. Isn't Ti rather soft to be used as a blade material? I guess when it's sole purpose is to stab people, that doesn't really matter.
Well, you might be able to dig up potatoes, carrots, and other tubers with it in an emergency.

It's seriously something I'd expect to see at a truck stop. That handle is mammoth molar according to BHQ.
