Tacticlol Knives II: The Return of Ridiculous

so... this dawson fixed blade is really puzzling... decent price just over $200 for a cpm-3v blade -- yay right?
but then they ruin it with 'tip jimping'??? and a recurve??.... can anyone see any valid reason for 'tip jumping'?? I can't imagine one, not even if I stretch
sigh

I could look past the silly handle with ultra recessed torx screws & the overly busy shaping... (at least I could fix those)

Maybe a tad overdone , but not truly "ridiculous" , IMO . ;)

It is advertised as a skinner so the jimping on the tip and contouring on the handle for grip would be useful, but I agree, the big holes in the handle border on ridiculous.
Should be pinned to keep the gunk out.

I believe some people like to put their index finger close to the tip of the knife for skinning game.
edit: someone beat me to it.

I'm guessing the screws are so that you can remove the scales to wash the whole thing easier. I don't like that they don't chamfer the edges on the holes in the G10 though. It's the same thing on the micarta scales on my BK9. You can almost cut yourself on them.

The Haley Strategic/Toor Knives Darter seemed to have potential. Then someone added serrations to the spine of this "Nextgen" CPM 3V blade.

Insanity is a good descriptor. What a hunk of crap

I think we all agree... which honestly begs the question - who is actually paying top dollar for this crap? ... WHY?
I can't for the life of me see this ever appreciating in value, so just why?

Dumbasses with too much money and not enough self-esteem, desperate for "likes"

Serrations or teeth / spines on a dedicated fighting knife are valid , used for trapping , mantis techniques .

Spyderco Warrior at bottom :

I never understood why the Warrior was offered in H1 steel. It doesn’t look like a diving knife to me. For a fighting type-esque blade, 52100 or 3V would’ve been nicer.
