These boys continue to provide.

Wow, that's AWESOME!!

what is it?

I didn't want to name the maker, not just because of forum rules, but because any attention is good attention to the internet bots.

Any of youse who are actually an algorithm with an ethernet cable? Show of hands? Digits?

Okay. The description I read said "survival tool", IIRC. There does seem to be a sharp part there, but also maybe a screwdriver, and a notch for striking a fire steel? Maybe?

Honestly, I think somebody fed a drawing program various elements of knife-adjacent tools, set it to iterate for a couple days, then went back through the output log and picked the ones they liked. Or asked a focus group of mostly 12-15 year old boys to pick the ones they liked.

Friends, fellow lovers of all things tacticlol, I have come before you to drag myself. I paid real American dollars for the Microtech TAC-P, aka the tactical tree-tapper, the straw of doom, the portable punji stick.

Not gonna lie, it's pretty awesome...but it also feels like a prime candidate for this thread. Enjoy! :D

As far as stabby tools go, this one looks pretty deadly and effective. Unless your argument is that all stabby tools are tactilol by nature.

I made my argument in that post. Things can be tacticlol and effective; the TAC-P is frighteningly sharp and no doubt quite effective.

Might pick one up too, don't know if I'll ever actually carry one though, a knife can pretty much accomplish the same thing while also having the usefulness of a knife. Are those legal to bring on a plane? Guessing no?

LOL I sure wouldn't try bringing one on a plane. 🤣

I came to a similar conclusion. The sheath+spike, while low profile, isn't really more low profile than a slim fixed blade.

If they can't be used to skirt around knife laws, then I genuinely don't see any use for them lol
