But it is definitely a theme in the high speed knife world.

I just stumbled across the fixed adamas for example.

At some point the military will figure out the tactical mora or something.

I've noticed that if you make a knife but drop the handle scales you can usually charge at least twice the money for it.
Then you can use the knife for a while and notice how painful it is to use and wrap it in tacticool paracord that collects all kinds of dirt and grease and then starts to smell like poo.

Obviously then you use your firestarter to burn the paracord

at least this one is only around $60... but imagine giving up the strength of a fixed blade, for the sake of some half baked cutaway sections in the handle?
... honestly don't understand how anyone would want this or design it for that matter ...

The handle slots are strategically positioned to accommodate titanium alloy zip ties - for affixing to silenced nunchucks made from polycarbonate ( with great effect).

The fifth one down isn't quite as ridiculous (at least in theory) as the others. It's general form is that of something called a hurlbat which may or may not have been an actual medieval weapon.

I don't know that the strength would actually be compromised for any tasks even remotely appropriate for a knife. The real question is WHY?!?! This looks pretty uncomfortable. Did they just have lots of little G10 pieces laying around and needed an excuse to use them? If only those slots served a purpose. For instance, if they were at least gauged for different wire sizes...

Wait a minute. Now I get it. It's so that you can take off that paracord survival bracelet, grab the nearest broom, and quickly lash up a spear when the terrorists invade your office building and/or zombies show up.
