Texas Camp Knife!

that is a great knife, probably surpassing the original(i tend more to sheepfoots than speys). i also like the size of the blade etch, not overwhelming but definitely there, if that makes any sense. the guesstimated price dismayed me( i need to reserve funds for the forum knife!), but you never know what you'll run across in round two, the re-selling. i saw one of the new Hinderer skeleton straight blades for $50 less than market not long after they came out. either way that's a camp knife to top all camp knives! and i have been at least carrying my queen #49h bem to get a close (half inch smaller) idea of pocketability. no problem for me but i'm 6'1" and 235lbs so i've got big...pockets of course;)
thanks, Neal

Anybody have the measurements of the Camp Knife? Looking for HxWxD (or length, width, tall... either way..)

Length is 4.83 I don't know if other dimensions have been given out yet. I bet it's not less than 5/8th's thick.

Ya, that looks about right 5/8 - 6/8 ish. Somebody mentioned a buck 110 sheath fitting these and I'm inclined to think that's not going to work due to the thickness and height.. length is similar.

I've had a lot of success carrying a multi tool in a nice leather 9mm belt pouch. Hard to say without this monster in hand but I'd be inclined to think something similar would work rather nicely. Just an idea-

I've been checking Waynorth Cutlery Special Order Knives site, but still no ETA, for the Dealers listed for the Camper.

I'm hearing 10 days for arrival to dealers so I'm figuring a little under 2 weeks for everyone that has one on order.

Chris told me that Charlie's Camp Knives will ship to dealers when they are all complete, so all dealers will get them about the same time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will ship sooner than later this month.

I am guessing they will ship early next week!

WOW! This is an impressive knife in hand. Really beautifully made and with Charlie's special touch! Sweeeet! This is the Burnt Orange example:

Very nicely done Charlie!!!! :D:D:D

For comparison, a vintage Case:
