Texas Camp Knife!

Gorgeous pictures, Barry.

Now that I've been seeing some pictures, and have had time to contemplate the size, I'm feeling a lot better about the camp knife. I use most all of my knives, sometimes with a spare or two tucked away, but always use one. I wasn't really sure where the camp knife would fit in for me. It looks so incredibly well made, and obviously so beautiful, that I think I'm going to put aside my Mudbug for a bit, and try the camp knife as my main outdoor folder. I'm not sure yet whether it'll stay on my belt or on the side of my pack. I'll have to work that out once It arrives.

I'm not normally the person to go crazy over red jigged bone, but I'm totally digging the cranberry on this pattern.

The Cranberry is a sleeper, as it is really beautiful on this monster knife!

I have not seen one yet that I did not love!

Thanks for the pic with the 110 too - that shows what a big-honkin' knife this one is!

managed to order one of these in burnt orange yesterday, does anyone know the length of the cutting edge on the main blade?

Looonnnggg!!:D
I expect a full report when you get yours!!

I was lucky enough to order the cranberry and my brother ordered the antique yellow. Looking forward to getting them.

It may it be to late, check with the distributors! I've got one on the way in antique yellow, pretty excited:thumbup: I predict it makes a camping trip within the next three weeks as my wife's been after me to take her and the kids.

I've got a Cranberry coming! They look awesome. I got my reservation in, but I guess everyone else responded to the "they're in" email quicker and I was left with the last one from the dealer I always reserve with... and it was a Cranberry! Which I'm very much happy with. They all look good, but I think the Cranberry is a stand out.

Never heard anything from the site I reserved it on. Guess I am SOL?

Did you try to contact them? It's possible one or two dealers haven't gotten them yet. You can always join the feeding frenzy on Monday at KSF.

No not yet, just read about people getting their emails this weekend. They are one of the larger dealers that has an early reserve system, so I imagine they had to have gotten them.

Further conversation on the purchasing process needs to go to VM, PM, or email.

Im really looking forward to picking one of these up!

That cranberry bone almost looks like its glowing.

Boy, this knife is a heavy sucker, relatively speaking. When you hold the tube you think its April Fools and they loaded it with lead sinkers or something. The knife feels great in hand and the blades have a nice and reasonable pull. Its not that its that heavy for its size, its just when you first hold the tube you think "what did they put in here?"

Great job on this SFO!:thumbup:
