THANKS "brand" Fixed Blade Collection

I usually have a few knives that distract me in between actual projects.....This is one of them.

I'm still tweaking it, and I don't know if there will be Any interest in this one, but so far it's pretty much everything that I want..... I believe that I'm going to call it "Straight-Back Farmer".
It's 3V heat treated at Bos, sculpted walnut scales with black liners, and My handmade aluminum & bronze threaded hardware.
Should be ready for sale in a couple weeks.

More to come, Thanks.....

I appreciate all the comments, and interest in my work. Thank You.I
It means A lot!!!

I really didn't expect my knives to sell So fast here?

I better get busy, I have a new box back from the treaters to grind..... :D

That one is sweet! I like the grind on it. Good work brother!
Thanks. I'm making this one flatter than normal. It's going to be for my Father-in-law 's 76th Birthday. Now I need to find him some snazzy scales.

I think Pop's had some elder last time I looked, recently.....

There is some WW2 rag micarta I see floating around that is screaming at me too ;)

Ohhh also a fantastic choice!

There's also g-mascus and that amber colored Ultem stuff.
I saw that Ultem stuff a couple years ago on a Helm..... I think it looks pretty cool, but almost a bit "futuristic looking" for me? I'd have to come up with a new design to show off the tang under those see through scales...
🤣🤣🤣

It's funny how new designs work....?
Here I'm finishing up some rough grinds on a few knives. The top one is going to a guy Here on BF. I'm excited about his reactions to this one. It was a quick design I came up with in order to send enough to my heat treater..... I call it "Long Paw" as the handle is for Really Wide hands.

The middle is a little (for me) hunter style I've been working on for awhile. it's going to my father in law for an early May birthday.
I haven't made too many knives for family members yet. It's his 75th and he's still going strong! It will have Many years of use...

The bottom one is a bit of an experiment. It's D2.
It's kind of general use.....bait knife.affectionately

Ive read here that Nathan's favorite steel is D2, and I only have 1 folder/Benchmade with that steel. I asked my mentor/knife making buddy here if he could heat treat me some to play with. It's low temper and actual Cryo. I'm going to use it hard, and see what I think? It's my birthday in May too, and I Think this is going to be my present to myself.

What I'm Really stoked about is what just happened, and is going to be a soon to be Future knife design of mine, I Just came up with.

I tend to like longer blades.
But after holding my father in law's hunter for Many hours..... I Love that handle shape. It fits my hand like a glove. It's perfect.
I'm going to merge the bait knife with it, for the Perfect, boring knife.... As seen in the drawing.
The subtle changes are hard to describe.
The knife is Just a knife. Perfect. It doesn't get more simple than that...
It's "Just Tuesday"
Available hopefully soon, this Summer.

All 3 look awesome to me. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a Bunch!
I've got to be careful with starting too many knives at once. Haha.
I think I've got probably 6 close, but not quite finished yet.

Next week I'll be getting more handle scale material.
I'll update as I make some progress. I have a couple weeks to finish these, and then start More

I just got around to using your stuff today. That hunter looks nice man! He'll love it I'm sure 😁

With my newest design, my handle has been a work in progress.
I found some beautiful, brown, vintage Micarta.

I installed it, but it was just a bit too thick.
I was worried about grinding off the bark....but form follows function in My book. So I did it.

*Bonus..... I'm Really loving the looks underneath.

Here are some early action shots of the build.
