THANKS "brand" Fixed Blade Collection

CPM3V with BOS heat treat, tested by my friend / maker exactly 60 HRC. Interested to see how it holds up under pressure. The included sheath provides a secure hold and I like the configurability of the C Clip. Thanks :D

Awesome picture!!! I love seeing them.

Funny how different the scales look dry. Almost like worn, comfy denim jeans.
Or something... Really a great sized knife. I hope it brings you a ton of use.

Thanks.

Thanks Brand EDC Woodcraft
Nitro V 62HRC Bos.
.136" Spine approx 4.5" long 9.5" total

A Fun, useful knife for Large hands. Featuring my Long Paw handle pattern. Black linen micarta. Handmade aluminum and bronze fasteners that I make. Hand ground, hand sharpened. All freehand. Wavey and wonky scratches. All good.

Even though the spine was so thick at over an 1/8" thick, it silently whispered through paper, cutting effortlessly. Silky. I hope it's new user makes good use of it.

I know I'm a good month (or more) behind on the project.....and it doesn't look like I did Anything new, But I spent a fair amount of time this weekend in the basement working on These two. Haha ... Hard steel (This Hard) seems to take forever. Grinding little by little. :0

My goal was to do a glue up soon.....
*Your guys scales Are glued up on these two, but I'm keeping Martin's a surprise.....

Not a progress picture..... Lots of Cruwear going out next week for my High-end Heat Treatment
But the little Red one will be done soon.
Then the Black Oak handled one is a gift for a supervisor at work of over 20 years. I wasn't expecting that. Last minute whipped out.
Then the Kiritsuke, then a couple More patiently waited chefs.... :D
Thank You for Everyone's support!!!!

Some great looking profiles there. Looking forward to seeing more photos.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited for some. A couple are for Me..... What's scary is I've still got 54 hardened blanks sitting here and I'm sending out another 20-25.

Haha....Idk Why I'm doing This?
I keep telling myself that I'm not committing to this whole Making thing, yet I keep buying More.

I'm going to Need a subforum, and another 10 years to get rid of All these!

Something tells me you will move (sell) what you want as quickly as you want. Your knives have great lines, user friendly shaped handles, great steel, and you generously share your thoughts and rationales for designs. Knife nuts truly appreciate that!

I Truely appreciate the whole Community here.
I beat every goal I had last year by a country mile, I have no idea what I'm doing, or where this is going, it's just Fun to be a small part of, Thank You!

Also, my opinions get me in trouble here, and in real life....Way too often!
Haha. :P

BTW, I hope to be making some knives in the future and have been drawing some designs. I was recently thinking about your ergo-friendly designs and how you seem to care about function over beauty, and want a high-performance steel. That is how I feel as well.

You may not know it, but makers like you discussing designs and experience help to motivate those who want to get into knife making.

I wouldn't of Had to start making knives, if you and others would make what I needed.... 😂😂😂😂

What are the dimensions of the red handled knife? That looks like it will be a great EDC, especially with your long Paw handle. I really like your designs and appreciate your skills and willingness to share your experience and knowledge.

The little red one is quite a bit smaller than my Long Paw.

It's my current edc (The brown, wood handle knife) and the red handle one are the same. The red one isn't quite fully contoured in this picture. The black one is the Long Paw, without the guard.

I'm still not completely sure of the name, but I've been leaning towards calling that knife and handle shape "No Love".

It's approx 4.5" blade, and 9.25" total length.
.135" thick spine. The red one is Hard, Nitro V @63-64HRC, but mine is Ingot D2
