This is what I'm crossing my fingers for! Although an 81 stockman would be great as well.Could be one of these heavy-duty, three spring whittler designs. OH

I agree about Charlie. I'm not a fan of taking votes for blade shape, pattern, covers, etc. and essentially end up with a knife designed by committee. Having a well thought out knife is preferable for me..I would rather have Charlie come up with something than us vote, personally. I would be grateful for any forum knife at all though.
Lack of ambition, I'm going for 3 blade SINGLE-SPRINGI hope it’s only two springs.
Not traditional enough. It's an OTF. Haha. The Stanley Utility Knife was introduced in 1936, so it's traditional, and it could easily include three blades. Science says this is the 2024 forum knife.

Its a friendly community here,so mostly its about contributing and joining in.Not to sound like a total d.a., but how do we get considered as a potential buyer for the forum knife? I’m oblivious to the process. Thanks in advance for any input.
Rules..... there are rules...... but, they're more like guidelines....Not to sound like a total d.a., but how do we get considered as a potential buyer for the forum knife? I’m oblivious to the process. Thanks in advance for any input.

Thank you much!Rules..... there are rules...... but, they're more like guidelines....
since this was intended to be a "Traditionals Forum" knife, the loose requirements are, to be a participating member of this forum.... I think there is a minimum "post count"... and I think that being a "paying member" of the site is a good thing.. don't know if it's a requirement.
asJohnnythefox said.... it's more about participation. If you "live" in the tactical knives forum, then drop down here only to get a Forum Knive so you can re-sell it? That is considered VERY bad form.
When decided, the mods/Spark will post a thread in this forum giving details for the purchase process. It's usually pretty straightforward.
You don't buy the forum knife. Not to sound like a total d.a., but how do we get considered as a potential buyer for the forum knife? I’m oblivious to the process. Thanks in advance for any input.
And who says knives don’t have a personality??You don't buy the forum knife.
The forum knife chooses you.
Knives don't have a personality.And who says knives don’t have a personality??

are those knives that congregate?A few weeks ago I stated that Victorinox would no longer be making group knives. Fortunately they changed their stance.
Yes, but they’ll be standing differently going forward, apparently.are those knives that congregate?
Here's one that showed up for sale tonight at TSA. Based on the price, they must be highly sought after. Can you post pics of some examples of 3-blade jack knives? I'm having a hard time envisioning anything other than a stockman, a jack with three blades sharing one pivot on the same end, or some kind of congress looking thing.
Why? Why would you do this to me, tease me with what could be, instead of what will be?A few weeks ago I stated that Victorinox would no longer be making group knives. Fortunately they changed their stance.
