The All New 2008 "What Did You Cut with Your Buck Today?" Topic

Sliced up my late night break time apple with my KOA BG42 110. A turkey with a bow is quite an accomplishmet. Turkey hunting is challenging enough with a shotgun.

Shaman, Darn you got a turkey w/ a bow!! I've been trying for years and hav'ent got to come to full draw on a Turkey. If its from Maine I guess its a Virginian, here its the Miriam and we also have some Ghouls. The 802 is a nice knife and I'm glad your using it. Does it have the signatures on the opposite side? Way to go. DM

Yes, the buck is signed. I always wonder if people feel back to those guys if/when their knives show up used on here.
You can kind of see the signatures here:

The turkey was FUN. He came in the backside. Normally you only keep the front open so the back is all black. In this case I ended up having to pull down one of the back windows. I had to watch him strut, and every time he hid his head with his fan I had to pull down part of my window, while holding the bow at the same time. It took about 6 turns for me to get the window all the way down. Then on the last turn I drew back. I've also stalked fall birds. THAT is crazy hard. But I've tagged out there too.

Thanks for the feedback. Do not mean to hijack the thread. Just happy to post up some Buck success.

Oooohhh....those are GOOD!!! And, they're "good to go!".

For me, I used my 880SP Buck Strider to open the UPS box with my Cold Steel Ti-Lite 6" Folder (26SXP).
Time to take a shower...I feel dirty and cheap :(

110AG broke down some cardboard boxes.

Opened the packaging on one of the custom letter openers I bought as a keepsake for my kids.
Now I just have to wait 20 years for THEM to open it them for the first time.

That JB is cool, isn't he Jeff?
Nice belt and buckle set!

Goose.Thinks for the kind words on the belt and buckle.Yes , J.B. is too cool for school. Now I have a place to hang my Bucks.

B.T.W. I cut some oranges in half with my B.P. 110 today.

I had to take a few days to take my Mother for her one year follow up after a knee replacement recently, and the hotels "free breakfast" included oranges with skin like rawhide, and all the hotel had was those plastic "sporks"!

I gave her my 301 and she used it to peal an orange in the dining area.

Wish I could have got a picture of some folks watching a 70 year old woman "gut" an orange with a pocketknife! :D

Now that's funny... I hope all is going well with your Mother and wish her a speedy recovery.

I used my Tempest to open a box that came from Mr. Leroy Remer. It contained one awesome knife. I bought an etched blade on ebay....someone had stuck what looked like a cord wrapped broom handle on it and then dipped it into some kind of resin. I decided to send it to Leroy for a repair...a new pair of shoe's...or I mean a new handle.

Well, I thought this blade had a full tang under the wood...not. This blade started life out as a 184 blank...so my ideas for a handle had to change. Here is what Leroy suggested and I tell you he is a master knife smith...I don't think I'll ever get a photo to do this knife justice...it's so sweet.
