The All Stag and Ivory Buck Thread (Let's See Your Stag & Ivory Buck Knives)

SK, nice and sweet thanks for sharing it... Did you do the handle work on it...:thumbup::thumbup:

st8yd, I like all stag and ivory handle Buck knives... Slim or chubby... I just seem to be finding more chubby ones...

I hate when that happens...

LOL.
That's because the chubby ones are easier to make. It's not easy getting a piece to be flat enough to go on the side of a 110 and be relatively smooth with the bolsters.

Another day, another stag Buck……..

Armand…you are right. That one really needed to be here on this thread!! It is extra nice in every way!! It really comes together as a whole package….excellent stag with pins, NS bolsters and the Damascus….beautiful!!

JB…that is another nice one!! I hadn't seen one before that I remember. It looks like an excellent skinner!!
I recently came across a 106 that Matt ended up with. It was a 1940's Buck pre-factory fillet knife. The 106 changed to the camp axe after that.

Bighaze…thanks a bunch for posting that 112!! I really like the story to go along with it. Deer horn from your uncle, a knife you re-bladed and re-handled and your nephew received the knife. That one is building quite a Bighaze family history!!....

Heath….thanks for posting here again!! Stag just doesn't get better than the stag on that 110.
I like the way Buck marked some of the ATS-34 and BG-42 near the spine of the blade on the front side.

Today I have a stag 307 that I'm posting. This one finds pocket time.

Mark, I like that one... ... I need to get some small stag Buck Knives...

Here's one I use to have... This is a sweet 500...

500...

:)

Hi Mark, I really like that stag 307, did someone re-handle it or is it factory issue? Armand, nice stag on that 500, I'll get around to posting one of those with gold on the etching one of these days soon, the one in my pile has no finger grooves:(.

Here is the last stag 112 photo to post. It is one of my favorite 112s, Buck custom shop made in 2007, Sambar stag, finger grooves, NK, S30V blade.

Now onto the Duke 500 series, this one has ruff bark Elk slabs, you just don't see Elk like this often.

Yes sir I did and thank you for your kind words. I was asked by the owner to post a picture. Great knives everyone!!!
Heath

JB…I don't know if that 307 is factory or not. It came to me exactly like you see it in the photos.

Maybe Craig knows and will comment here if any 307's were factory dressed in elk.

Armand….nice stag 500!! I think the finger grooves on that one really add to it. Just looks like it would be comfortable to have in your hand.
Thanks for posting another stag Buck even though it sounds like you let that one slip away.

JB…I agree with you about the rich looking elk bark on that 500. Very nice!!
Your stag 112 was an easy winner for me though. That is one of the nicest ones I've seen…and S30V to boot!!

Heath…I'll bet you put a great big smile on the face of whoever the owner is of that 110 is that you re-handled in stag!! You do fantastic work!!

Today's stag Buck from me is one I wish I knew more about. I bought this from British Steve a while back and he didn't know the history of it either.
It has a very rich looking amber stag with red spacers sandwiched in between brass bolsters and beautiful file work on the lock bar and a satin finish blade. That makes for a very nice combination.
Please let me know if anyone has an idea who may have re-handled it and did the file work. Thanks!!

Here is one of my favorite BCCI Duke 500's, I wish Buck and the BCCI would do these in 112 & 110.

Mark, I love the color of that amber stag... Just sweet...

JB, I like it, I like it, I like it...

Here's a 192 Vanguard Track Series made for Cabela's with a Deer cutout blade and elk antler handle... ...
I got this one from a yard sale in the San Diego area...

192...

JB…Wow!! That one has Damascus bolsters to boot!!
I agree that a 112 and 110 like that would be extra nice.

Armand…I don't expect you'll ever run out of stag and ivory Buck knives to post. :)
You found another nice one in your boxes and bags of Buck knives for yesterday's stag photos!! Thanks for adding so much to this thread.

Herbert….you haven't posted often in this thread, but you show us some fantastic stag and ivory Buck knives when you do!! :)
Those are five beauties!!

Scott….where do you and Armand come up with those stag 100 series Buck knives that fit larger people's hands so well??
That one is nice, nice, nice!!!

Guess what?? Yep, I have another stag Buck 110 to post today.
This one has some excellent stag with three pins, brass bolsters and a BG-42 satin finish blade.

Well, as I wrote a time ago I am speechless when I am faced with these knife made stag and ivory.
That effects to the posting activities, when I am sittin' in front of the screen with an open mouth and
dilated pupils.

Do you like to see more of them?
