The All Stag and Ivory Buck Thread (Let's See Your Stag & Ivory Buck Knives)

I want to give a special great big thank you to Armand and JB for posting so many beautiful Buck stag and ivory knife photos throughout this entire thread!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Sure would love to see Evil Eye Earl get his new photo set-up and post some more…or hkingdom post more…or all you other Buck nuts out there to post more!! :)

Today's Buck stag from me is 1 of just 22 ever produced. It is a C B Signature Knife, Buck 405 made specially for the BCCI 25th Anniversary. It has an ATS-34 satin finish blade and is dressed in very nice elk stag.

Here's y'all a few more.

One week until Christmas!! Where did this year go??

prettylilbug….great to see you back!! :)
That is one Buck knife I have no experience with. Not sure why, but I've never brought one home. It would be in stag like yours if I did though.

Pack Rat…I was hoping you would show up here!!
You just showed up blasting away too!! Fifteen beautiful stag Buck knives…WOW!!! I would love any one of those in my collection.:thumbup::thumbup:
Wish I had a Klinkhammer set like that. I only have the 124.
You posted a stag 112 a while back on another thread that would really add to this thread if you can find the time. It was one of the nicest stag 112's I've seen.

JB…I think you have all the stag 500 Duke's. You just keep on keepin' on posting all those beauties!! Thanks!! :)

Today I am posting a stag 111. It is the only stag 111 I have. I think it would be hard to find a nicer stag 111!!! I thought about waiting until 1:11 pm to post my stag 111, but decided to go ahead and post my stag 111. Here's my stag 111. (Sometimes I scare myself because I start sounding like oregon) ;)

That 111 is really nice! It would be perfect with a drop point blade.
I know they are a pain to scale but I sure like the curves on the 111.

Wow Mark, that is the best looking stag 111 I have ever seen, thanks for posting it for us! Also, thanks for posting that stag steak knife yesterday;). A few years ago Buck sold some build outs almost like that one and some of the folks here did not like the fact that I called them steak knives....Lol. Just one question comes to mind, did you get another 5-7 of them for a whole dinner set? Just kidding, I have always regretted not getting one of them and they have held their value extreamley well.

Here is yet another 500

Wow Heath, those are all fantastic to die for stag customs! But, you need to tell us a little about each one. PS....I want them all;)

Thank you

st8yd…I know there are lots of folks here who prefer a drop point.
I have always preferred the clip and even more, the older, more piercing clip points on the early 110's.
I know people talk about those breaking more easily, but I've never broken a tip in over 40 years of using a 110. I have just never used one as a pry bar.
I've never cut a saw cord or nailed my hand to a wall either like I've seen done on construction sites. You just have to be careful using tools.
The 111 would definitely look nice with a drop point though. :)

Another day and another excellent JB stag 500!!
JB…it has been fun seeing your vast collection of stag and ivory Buck knives!! Thanks again for adding so much to this thread!!:thumbup:

Okay, it was kind of a slow day yesterday as far as anyone posting their stag and ivory Buck knives here.
Just two knives had been posted all day, so I turned in early and read until the book was falling out of my hand because I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.
Then I wake up early this morning and BAMMMM!!!! Heath showed up after hours with a flurry of knockout stag and ivory Buck knives!!:thumbup::thumbup:
Too bad JB already spoke for all those beauties. ;)
Thanks Heath!!

I'm going to cheat a little today.
I'm posting two knives together because they kinda go together.
I already posted the 531 stag earlier in this thread, but I decided to post it again when I brought out my 535 stag to post.
They really do go together well…and both have identical 1991 tang stamps of "Buck / 535+ and 531+ / USA / PAT PEND"

Those two do go together very well Mark, I'm not a big fan of the Bucklock knives until now!

Time for a little Timberlake

I'm thinking of getting an Elk stag 110 from the costum shop from buck knives website. Which brought me here. These are some really nice looking knives. I know not all of these are elk stag. And even thought I know each knife can vary from the next, I was surprised by the variety of looks on the elk stag knives. I'm curious how the elk handle knife will come out. Has anyone got one recently? And did it turn nicely? I'm also curious how durable the elk stag knives are? Do they hold up well? Do they scratch easily?
