The All Stag and Ivory Buck Thread (Let's See Your Stag & Ivory Buck Knives)

JB….that is another beauty!! I really love the ivory, but like Scott says…… -->I like stag more --> I like ivory more --> I like ivory more --> I like stag more…… :)

I guess I'll never know. That might be why I started the "Stag" and "Ivory" Buck's thread…I like both a bunch!!....

I remember another 1984 4 dot stag Buck 112 Rattler being posted in this thread a while back. Today I am posting some photos of mine. I really like stag!!

I knew we were getting close to a milestone, so I went back and checked. This thread about stag and ivory Buck knives was started one month ago today!!....

I have an apple for anyone who wants to stop by and celebrate!! :)

That sure is a nice Buck Knives hat I'm wearing. :D

Actually, a better celebration would be for lots of you that haven't posted any of your stag or ivory Buck knives with us to share some here.
I recently saw a really nice, most excellent, beautisimmo, fantastically awesome stag Buck 112 that Pack Rat posted in another thread.
I know there are plenty out there. :)

I do want to thank everyone who has already posted their stag and ivory Buck knives in this thread. What an outstanding collection you all have…and now everyone can enjoy them all in one place just by scrolling through this thread when you need that visual fix.

Mark, that's a sweet looking 112 you got there and I love the stag on it... Same with the one JB's has...

I've been looking for a 112 Rattler and the 110 Buffalo gold etch for a long time... I've seen them both on

the bay but never won one of them... But I did get a 110 Buffalo from JB... Thanks again JB... Now to find

a 112 rattler... Some day, some day... :)

It really is a dilemma trying to decide which handle material I like more because Stag & Ivory are absolutely my favorites. Every knife handle is so different, even when they are Stag, and the selection for Ivory never ends between, bark or center cut, prehistoric or modern, elephant or walrus....or if you have the money, narwhal. It would be unfair to choose between Stag & Ivory, not unlike a parent having to choose their favorite offspring:eek:

Just to contribute a couple more photos. 309's just right for the jeans watch pocket. 300

It's not really stag but Stagalon, from a SMKWs special order built by Camillus. No model number or date on tangs. CA toothpicks are considered model 333's in lists and writings.

Armand….you are right. That is a sweet 110 you posted yesterday!! I like it!!
That 539 Sawby all dressed in stag is just an amazing Buck knife!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
I have a 539 Sawby TruBlue, but that's the first one I have ever seen like yours….and probably is one of a kind since Leroy rehandled it.

JB…I don't have many barehead knives. I think I need to start looking for one or two after seeing some of yours.
You have an amazing collection of stag and ivory knives….including the beauty you posted yesterday!! Thanks!! :)

Scott….it would be and is much harder choosing between my favorite stag or ivory Buck knife than it is choosing between my favorite son or daughter.
I have one son, so he is my favorite son and I have one daughter and she has always been my favorite daughter. Easy peasy.
Stag or ivory Bucks?? Not so easy. I haven't seen one that was posted in this thread that I wouldn't love to have!!

Craig…I enjoy carrying a 309 once in a while. Carrying one dressed in stag would even be better!! Nice knives and excellent photos as always!!:thumbup::thumbup:
I like the Stagalon too.

I'm posting a 301 I picked up earlier this year in July.
The sibling to this one lives in Oklahoma now. :)

Hi All,

Thanks for all of those stag photo's posted yesterday and all the days before that. Armand, I have never been a fan of the folding fishing knives until know. That stag 539 is to die for, well if I was a fish:p.

Here is another stag 500, I need to take a few new photo's of these.

DC,

The Buck ball peens and a Buck anvil was available several years ago, I actually think I may not have gotten an anvil. Likely, if you want one or both you could ask on the BCCI website spot or just reply to me here saying, " Boy, I wish I had been around to get one of those when they were available." And you never know someone might send you a private message about one, but they should NOT say something like that in a reply or I will have to drop the hammer so to speak on them.....

JB…another very nice 500!!
I can't see the stag real well, but it looks like beautiful rough bark from what I can see. I like it!!
Thanks for sharing so many stag and ivory Buck knives for everyone's viewing pleasure.:thumbup::thumbup:

I have an elk handled 208 sheath knife today.
This one was created for Buck by Wilde Bill Cody and is serialized #9 out of 250.
It's a looker. :)

I remember that little knife you just posted Mark, kind of a WBC version of the Koji dagger.

Here is another of the 500's. Like the one from yesterday not the best photo (will need to drag out the camera some day;))

Mark, nice and sweet, but I can't see now...

JB, nice stag on that one, for sure...

Here's a sweet 103...

103...

:)

We start a new week. Hope to see a bunch of your stag and ivory Buck knives posted here this last full week before Christmas. :)

JB…you have a VERY nice collection of Duke 500's dressed in stag!! Thanks for sharing so many for everyone here to enjoy.:thumbup:

Armand…you have some of the nicest stag 100 series Buck knives I've seen!! A great big "thank you" too for sharing so many here for everyone's enjoyment!!:thumbup:
It would be very hard for me if I had to choose just one of the three knives you posted yesterday that Leroy made. They are all excellent!!

Today's stag is not a 100 series, but I'm posting it to show Armand that he doesn't have ALL the fat stag Buck knives. ;)
This one has a 1988 639 blade, but was custom built by Joe Houser in 2006. It's another shiny one.

Wow Mark, that 639 must be hard to shoot photo's of, very nice stag and a real looker. Armand, I need to get a few of those little 55's (love the Ivory), Seeing both of your stag 103's lets me see what I need to add to my pile;). Thanks for all the great pic's guys.

Here is the next 500
