The Anvil Shed, The spot to shoot the breeze.

Yep a tortoise..And the kid's family who took it to school had to pay a heavy fine. At the Cedar Key dock a guy hit a Pelican with his fishing rod after it stole a fish from his wife. After a attempted citizens arrest the Cedar Key police held him and 3 hours later Federal cops came from Gainesville and cuffed and stuffed and took him in the car. For hitting the bird with a fishing rod. Not hard either!

Flying ants are boiling up out of the ground.
Time for the Summer windshield!

A bunch of Triumphs.
I started out on a Triumph 250 way back when, have had quite a few different bikes since then (Nortons, BSA, Ducatis, BMWs, Moto Guzzis, Buells) and finally went back to Triumphs.
There's 4 second generation Sprints and there's an old BMW K100 slowly collapsing in there as well.
They range from the 02 955 RS (the Yellow Banana)

to the 2011 1050 GT which is my 150 MPH Couch Bike.
The secret is the carbon fiber front sprocket cover, it adds 10 RWHP.

They're kind of like Buck knives in a way - variations on a theme, each one different enough to be worth getting.

Some very nice steeds Steve.. Thanks for sharing. The 955 Triumphs are nice bikes. I was set to buy a 2001 955I Daytona (beautiful bike) until I test drove the 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. Have kept all my motorcycles except a 1978 Suzuki 185 Enduro which
i sold as a kid. Might have to post some pics if I get around to taking a few this spring.

I just finished and submitted my 2022 federal and state income tax returns. 😒

Impressive, my father did HO gauge...IIRC that's a larger scale than N.
HO is a lot bigger. Most middle aged guys and older all started in HO. In the late 90s, the tooling and detail for N got exceptionally better. So in my 30s I sold all that and switched to N. Just so much more you can do in the same space.

I am irritated by the local weather. All of the shooting matches I wanted to do in March were canceled because it was "too cold." The USPSA tomorrow is canceled because rain is coming. UGH!

What are the chances Buck releases a Star Wars themed BOTM for the 3rd year in a row on or around May 04? Any takers?

Bees make yellow jackets and other hornets/wasps look bad. Bees are useful in an obvious way and for the most part won't bother you if you don't bother them. Wasps and hornets on the other hand . . . unpleasant creatures. And they seem to prefer to build nests exactly where you don't want them each and every time.

This is why you should always carry a Buck knife.
You never know when you might find yourself being savagely attacked by ferocious critters.
Or maybe they're just peacefully digesting under a heat lamp but you just never know!
