The "Ask Nathan a Question" Thread

Nathan, I like to read and study your much older sales threads when I'm looking for some of your much older work. In 2014 you had presented a 5" drop point knife in a batch of few 6" Utility Fighters all of which had the satin finish with medium grit.
My Q is as to why nothing more came of that pattern? I think that one could very well be one of your rarest knives in the wild! Was it like a modern day Fun Friday sale one of its type that you improvised or was it a project which you just decided not to pursue?

Edited to add:

The knife on the top is a one-off. It's a 5" drop point with a very shallow, almost flat, 36" hollow grind. This knife is hand ground. It's basicly a large skinner pattern with a .020 edge sharpened 15 deg per side. It cuts very well, but it's not overly delicate. Feel free to baton with it, it will take it. This would make a great EDC or a field knife.

To me, this could be the holy grail and the missing link of the CPK-Skinner / EDC / FK patterns :eek:

This may have already been asked, possibly by me lol. In regards to the FK2 is it possible we could see some g10 handle offerings ? :-) I’m a sucker for some toxic green and blaze orange :-)

Yes I'm sure we'll do a few sheets in colored G10. :thumbsup:
