Probably at some point but I have to keep things simple around here for now because we've just moved the shop and I'm scandalously late on the K18.

This is a serious dilemma. I want my K18... Buuuut I also want fancy DEK1s... Hmmm

OD Terotuf isn't a scale option for DEK1s yet, so I figured getting expanded scale options past natural and black micarta was a good step in the direction of fancy DEK1s... I think I need a pair in AECM and tricolor rag to match my UFs!

Nathan what's your thought on a Open One Hour sell, say once a month, for your newer models like the Dek1? It is smaller and easier to manage than a large preorder, yet give more ppl like myself who does not have flexible work schedule a better chance at getting your knives?

I would guess he will revisit the EDC pattern.
There are a lot of them out there.
Have you posted a WTB in the CPK buy, sell, trade thread?

I haven’t yet. If possible I like to buy from the maker to give them another sale.
I know it’s not always possible, but I try. It’s never a case that I need

The current DEK1 is EDC sized if you don't mind something similar.

Ah.. I was just going off Nathan's description in the recent sale thread that it's almost as compact as the EDC.

DEK1 is at least one full inch longer just in its BL. The post above yours says that it is similarly sized to an FK2.

Maybe I've missed it but are there pictures of the OD Green TeroTuff posted somewhere already? Or could we get a couple pictures of it whenever it's convenient?

The DEK1 has the standard Delta heat treat protocol, HRC 60.5, the same as the Field Knife and the Utility Fighter. It is well optimized for edge retention in rough and normal use.

Isn’t “standard Delta heat treat” an oxymoron? We may have grown accustomed to it, but it’s well beyond “standard.”

This may have been asked, but will you ever revisit the original FK ? The UFK/FK2 are super sweet blades !!!! But the original is still my favorite Maybe an anniversary model
