The folder is a work in process. The material is here, the steel has been decked, the special cutters and tool holders are here. I have some details to finalize in the design and fixturing to design and build. We're going to do these this year and I would love to have some by the Blade Show but that's looking less and less likely.

We're going to start beveling the SDFK in about 2 weeks.

The Tanto is a whiteboard project...

There is an element of truth to this, not regarding Swarthy (Dan?), but this dummy known as me! Many moons ago when there were just a few of us back when riding on your coattails, Ivan (the current owner of this masterpiece) and I were talking about his desire for a Samurai sword when I had suggested to him to contact you to see what you could come up because I had told him that if he could convince you to take on a project, he'd most likely end up with something truly unique. Unfortunately I was not in ample funds back then or I would've contacted you myself for something for me! I reckon that you were a lot easier to convince back then when you were wearing shorts and sandals and probably still had zits on your face :p

PS. Not a question, just venting #stillnotnathan.

The 6" UF? Yeah, probably. I think we've already shipped most of those, we're getting down into the technical ones. Yes, I think we're going to have at least the Delta 3V shipped by then. We are waiting on the AEBL to come back from Peters.

Thanks! That's good to hear. Can you believe that it's almost been a year since that pre-order? Seems the older I get, the faster the time flies.

PS - and I just realized that in that year, I purchased four other CPK knives.

Nathan, apologies if this question has been asked previously and I simply missed the answer/discussion, but have you guys considered creating a crash ax/hawk? Something full tang with breaching and vehicle access in mind? I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap, but I would be very interested to see (and purchase) what ya'll came up with.

Yes, we have considered it. We may pursue something like that someday but it is not on our whiteboard at the moment
 
Is the whiteboard a real thing, or just a metaphor for Nathan’s gray matter? And if real, is it neat and orderly like Mr Clean Desk guy? Or is it a cluttered, tangled mess where only the owner could ever hope to find a clue?

TLDR: let’s see a picture of the whiteboard! :)
