Do you even need one? It's for breaching a door and the guy behind it. These were made during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's a cool piece, but does anybody really need one? I'm going to make way more of the EDC because that aligns with our goals as a company that manufactures useful tools. The Utility Fighter was a perfect knife, the Shiv is dialed up to 11. Unless you're planning on poking holes in some feral pigs, I'm really not sure what you're going to do with it.

This is what I carried on one of my last pig hunts, the gun helped in the killing, I didn’t need to help cut it up. The knife is a W2 hunter from Josh Fisher MS. I’d need more blade and better geometry to stick a pig, so yep, guess I should upgrade!

^ You shoulda seen all the good ‘ole boys piled in the trucks with their AR’s when they saw me carrying that through the swamps in SC. Had one old guy jump out and ask to hold it, said he hasn‘t owned a gun that wasn’t semi-auto in 25 years haha.

Huge difference between needs and wants. 😉

I think 300 would be good if you limited it to one per person up to 300. If say only 200 were ordered then possibly go back to those that got in and then see if anyone wants multiples. I don’t think it would create much more work and I think that would be the best way to keep your fan base happy while not taking on more of a project than you want to take on.

As someone who owns no shiv and wants one more than any modern day knife, I say maintain the mystique and keep #s low. 100. Release em all at once, limit 2, zero complaints pure bloodbath hell

I don’t know if everyone realizes that the BD won’t be made even though it won the 3rd poll. That thing is calling me as well. I can’t do it. I have hope for future classic remake of the Boot Dagger.

How is that twisted like that? Wtf?

Get yourself a good 3/32" tool and try again? The fasteners on the signature side are red loctite, the fasteners on the back side are removable loctite.

If you totally wreck it, you can return it to the mothership and I will fix it.
