Learning more can enhance and increase your limitations! I know many of the people on here do a better job sharpening than I do- I am just happy if hairs pop off.

It is great that Nathan is willing to take the time to answer questions and address concerns.

My favorite on D3V is 400 venev on a 6 micron strop

I have seven big pieces of vintage International Paper Micarta coming in next week. They bought it from Westinghouse and later sold it to Norplex. It was made in my lifetime but it's still pretty old. It might be some pretty good stuff. It will be interesting to compare it to the old Westinghouse stuff.

How'd these piece of paper micarta turn out? Any good? pics? planned uses? any questions you'd ask that I haven't?
