About the FK3 here are the listed changes compared to the Basic 5 :
- jimping on the thumb ramp,
- weight reduction skeletonization in the tang,
- swedged blade.

My question is : Do the FK3 also have a hidden lanyard hole like the FK2?

Nathan the Machinist , seems like the changes you noted for the new run of BFKs wouldn't affect the handle, but just wanted to check if the new scales will be compatible with the OG BFK? And will the new BFK not have a lanyard hole like the OG, but the SSBFK/FK3 will?

No "bad idea option". The same scales for the Basic 5 and the FK3 variation.

Trying to keep it simple. The complexity of the DEK pre-order made my hair hurt.
