We don't use a blasted finish. The problem with a blasted finish is it tends to pick up little scratches pretty bad. We use a tumbled finish, which is really just millions of random small scratches. It has better corrosion resistance than a blasted finish and it also holds up to use pretty well...

Yes, the pre-order will be this coming Friday and we will offer the basic five and a signature build of the basic five that we might call the FK3. There will be plenty of options, but I have not figured out what we will be offering yet.

Preorder is at 5 eastern here on the forum. Although Nathan usually puts the preorder thread up earlier and just unlocks it at 5.
