Hey Nathan! So, I know this goes against everything the new FBFK is, or will be... but is there any chance you'll ever make a slightly lighter/thinner/shorter version of the SDFK? Maybe something around the thickness of the HDFK, but no choil and a little pointier? Kind of a Medium Duty Field Knife, or an XL version of the Thin/Hard "Bad Idea". Or would that be a Terrible Idea?

Sounds like a pretty cool idea, Sweety Petey. Well said ! Nathan the Machinist , I feel like Pete is onto something here that many of us would go after. It sounds like a sweet spot between the FK3 , UF2, and SS SDFK. Pretty cool ! You could name it the Sweet Peter, even !

While the HDFK is pretty much perfect, I’d agree with Pete that there is a significant gap between HDFK/SDFK and BFK/FK3. I do have a filler for that gap, but a CPK would be nice.

It could just be a bit of debris between the two layers of Kydex.
