They probably do. However every blade I've received from them has one of the sharpest edges I have gotten from a maker.Re: FK3 (3V Optimized Delta)
Along with your new cursive signature will you personally schmooz the edges on these blades?

I'm glad that you are impressed by it. I honestly am too.
We won both Nationals and Worlds cutting championships this year. Men's and women's. Won the points too. We are literally the best in the world at what we do and I don't do a very good job of broadcasting that information. It isn't common knowledge and it really should be.
The diamond shmoo that I make is a significant component to these wins. We have the sharpest knives in the competitions, and that helps a lot.
Every knife we ship from here is sharpened on the same equipment and stropped on the same compound.

YesDo you strop using the schmoo by hand or on machine with leather belt?
Nothing is wrong with electric belts in the right hands, using premium leather strops on quality machines.Do you strop using the schmoo by hand or on machine with leather belt?

So no machine stropping with a leather belt. It seems.Post in thread 'The "Ask Nathan a Question" Thread' https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/the-ask-nathan-a-question-thread.1425245/post-16747426
It would appear power stropping is best left to the folks who know how to use oneSo no machine stropping with a leather belt. It seems.
Same knife but the signature is refined. Tang is skeletonized, has a swedge, and a couple other differences. The signature is an upgrade but not a different model. So the length shouldnt be differentJust got my Basic Field Knife (Cruwear) to go with my Signature Field Knife (Tweaked D3V). Noticed the blades look the same length. Is the BFK not longer than the Signature these days ? Not complaining, I like them both the way they are, just curious.
PS the Crusty Vintage Micarta is awesome.
I see, the video I saw was 4 years old, and the signature version had the recessed lanyard hole.FK2 is the shorter (previous) model
Can you show photo of grips?PS the Crusty Vintage Micarta is awesome.
I'll post some one of these days, but it's more of a touch thing. Both knives are unbuffed, but the crusty vintage is more grippy than the newer double red micarta. The crusty looks just like a few of the recent pics people have posted. I was expecting something gnarly but it's very clean. Can you show photo of grips?
