You just keep digging your hole deeper. Why should the OP keep calling if no one answers the phone? Sounds to me like your husband is a louse and a coward. I think there's far more to this than "health problems". There's some psychological issues here that require professional counseling.

Hateman, I'm really sorry, but I don't believe these crooks have any intention of delivering your knife or refunding your money. If it were me, I'd be calling the local authorities in Alabama so a statutory remedy to this farce can be initiated. Sounds like someone needs to do some jail time. It's been a STINKIN' YEAR and you haven't gotten your knife. That should tell you something.

And Mrs. Faulk, it doesn't matter if you're the VP "in title only". As such, you are an authorized representative of FCK, and therefore just as liable as your lying husband in this matter. It's up to you to do something about this if he won't. The time for making excuses is over. DO something about it.
 
Hateman just know that when you type Faulk custom knives this this is the first thing that pops up.
And it will follow these two crooks for the rest of their lives even if they change the company's name to something else. Bill and Amy have been deceiving and dishonest with you from the start. With the bs she has tried slinging here I doubt they ever had a intention to make you a knife.

Kinda sad IMO. I think she got VERY frustrafted with him(and the business)when she couldn't get him to reply to this thread, and I'm sure she was even before this thread.

I feel she's been trying to help her husband as much as she could, but I think this was the final straw for her when she couldn't even get him to reply.
She was so frustrated that he wouldn't speak up for himself that she gave out his phone number.
And as she stated, he won't even let her put her name on the checking account, so she can't issue a refund. I believe her, and kinda feel for her having been put in this situation by her husband.

What kind of man would do this to his wife ???
HE needs to reply to the thread, and she knows that, but she can't make him.
I would think things aren't going very well in their household about now.


OP, you have his phone number. Leave a message and tell him you will take this further if no refund or knife.
If no reply, Call the BBB in his area and see if you can get some assistance there.
I kind of doubt they'll help much, so then call the local authorities and report the theft of your funds. Send them a link to this thread.
Do what you have to do to get your money(or knife) from this fellow ASAP.

At this stage, the BBB is of value only for reputable businesses. Fly-by-nights have little to no reputation to be damaged.

Breach of contract does not equal "theft" unless one can prove that the subject took your money having no intent to preform (larceny by trick/theft by deception/criminal fraud).

There may be nothing lawful that can be done to "get your money (or knife)." The remedy in a civil lawsuit is a judgment for money damages/reimbursement. But if the guy is broke, the judgment is worthless. This is why the integrity of those with whom you do business is so important. You are counting on them to deliver what they promise with limited (or no) practical remedy if they do not.

I seem to remember that both fck husband and wife are working full time jobs..seems it was mentioned at some point in two different posts by Mrs. Fck. That alone seems they should be able to refund and save grace. If one doesn't like the heat then put out the fire. Give people back their money and stop the anger. That's my advice but its y'alls call.

I also dont like when people hide behind the cross......while doing the exact opposite of what the bible says to do and what jesus himself would do. Too many of these convenience christians down here. Now im off topic and I've already said too much here. Let's hope fck and those who have given them their money get it all worked out fairly.

The original post stated that this is the standard response that people get when they try to communicate with anyone at FCK. Nothing but lies and bullshit.

And now we're supposed to believe this poor abused womans stories about her husband mistreating her?

There's an amazing trend in threads on web forums where people will pick and choose what to believe and what to discount, when told lies they choose to accept excuses and nonsense rather than the simple truth. People who engage in the sort of behavior seen here are sociopaths, they lie because they don't know how to do anything else. Why in the world would anyone believe the claims this person is making now but not believe the nonsense she posted just a few hours/days ago?

She stated that they haven't been selling any knives since 2014, it took me about 30 secs to find ads for their knives listed by her company and dated as recently as last week for knives for sale by them. She said she can't issue refunds, complete nonsense.

I feel for the victims, truly but why in the world do people continue to fall for this crap?
 
I would suggest making a refund. After such a long period of time, your own personal and business issues. I can't see the rationale to holding the buyer to your no cancel policy. As horrible as it is to succumb to health issues, it's not right to make them your customers problems too. I wonder if you would be so understanding if it was your money being held hostage and being strung along?

Just so you know, that alleged personal phone number that she gave out is the same one that appears doing any sort of search for Faulk Custom Knives. In other words, she bravely gave out their alleged companies phone number.
 
I kind of believe her rant insofar as any sociopath lying to protect their business reputation wouldn't then memorialize something on the net that totally undermines that reputation.
However that doesn't explain how FCK is posting new knives for sale recently, unless she isn't posting them but he is without her knowing about it. Which seems unlikely but possible.

But you're assuming that the sociopath who's doing the lying is also completely rational and they're not.

When the only thing that can save a person is telling the truth, the pathological liar will lie. They can't help themselves, they believe their own stories and when confronted about them they come up with explanations even when those explanations directly contradict the original lies. It's fascinating to see unless you're the victim.

Pick up a copy of "The sociopath next door" and peruse it, it's eye-opening.

I expect "Mr. Faulk" will arrive here shortly to explain away his wife's issues, beg for understanding as they try to work out their problems, plead for compassion about his various physical maladies, and offer a few more excuses for his/her
behavior. Offers of a refund will not be forthcoming...

Or I could be completely wrong. Either way, I know of one more knife brand I won't ever be considering.

With the amount of energy she's put into this thread, she could have:

Went into the shop and given the OP an update on the knife.
(My personal opinion is that there is nothing to update)

Or:

Just issued a refund.
(At this point, that makes the most sense)

The problem with continuing to do nothing productive to come to a fair resolution, is that this thread is all over page one if you Google "Faulk Knives"
 
Alarm bells ring when the website's only apparent purpose is to inform customers that money paid up front isn't refundable after 48 hours. That just screams scam.

Whether Amy is an abused wife or part of the problem, it's pretty clear that Faulk Custom Knives' business practises are utterly despicable. No commitment, no professionalism, no integrity.

Amy - if what you say about not having any financial control is genuine then be aware that's one of the hallmarks of domestic abuse/family violence. There is no excuse for that and you should get out.

It sounds like for many reasons Faulk Knives/ Faulk Custom Knives is one business which needs to fold.

To the OP - sorry it looks like you lost your money. I have no doubt that Faulk Custom Knives will only continue to justify their inexcusable behavior. Typical behavior for someone who can't take responsibility for their own actions.

Someone needs to post an address for these charming knife makers and visits need to be made. Shame the owners in their own neighborhood and expose their true identity to their peers.

Which is exactly why their address shouldn't be posted (that, an email address, name and phone number are easily available ). That's a very slippery slope towards an outcome nobody wants. All of the contact details are also for Amy and I dont think she should be harassed if half of what she says is true.

Posting addresses is a big step towards bad things
