Someone needs to post an address for these charming knife makers and visits need to be made. Shame the owners in their own neighborhood and expose their true identity to their peers.

That is not the kind of thing we want to promote. You risk bodily harm and possibly prison time, for a knife? How intelligent would that be, seriously? I'm going to lock this for a day or so, until some people regain some of their common sense, or can at least reach someone to borrow some.

That'd be digging your own grave... A dumb idea that guarantees prison time. Over a knife? There are far better and civil ways to handle this.
 
Yea ok, you create an account and your first post is supporting the keeping of an individuals money after timeframes have been changed and communication spotty or no communication at all. The guy wants his money back or the knife. Pretty simple to me.

GIVE THE MAN HIS MONEY BACK OR CONTINUE THE BAD PR AND LOSE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

I had one till it was stolen. Was my best knife ever for skinning wild hogs. They are custom made so allow time. Being civil goes a long ways. Yes mr Bill has had some issues but who has not? Now Mrs Amy is a personal friend i know a lot of men wont hit a woman but i will gladly stand in her place if you so desire to pay her a visit! I talked to them little go knives are being sent out today and or tommorow. When you get your knives you should come back here and openly posty apologize to both of them. Have a great day everyone
 
An apology huh? For being screwed around with? You sir, need to get back on your meds. This thread will stand as evidence of the crappy service they provide for anyone who googles them. Serves them right.

I joined this Forum today simply because Amy told me about it, and my experience with Faulk Custom Knives is just the opposite of what this forum espouses. I was told about Faulk Knives a few years ago by a friend a few years ago. Since that time I have bought 8 knives from Faulk Custom Knives, I am not a collector, I bought most as gifts for some of my hunting buddies. If they were not good knives I would not have continued buying. My experience has been one of satisfaction with both the quality and delivery of the knives. My next hunt is a moose hunt in October and I hope to use my newest skinner at that time. The first set of knives I bought, I paid the full amount up front, when I told Bill that I had to leave a few days earlier than expected, he gave me directions and I stopped in Alabama where he took time off from work to meet me and deliver them. Now the fact that I joined this forum simply to express satisfaction with Faulk Custom Knives does not lessen the validity of my comment. I gave you facts, I ordered 8 knives, I received 8 knives and Bill went out of his way to get that first order to me when I needed it.
 
This is crazy funny all of a sudden bam 2 people outta the wood work defending a maker that until he Became the subject of ridicule. Seemed like he gave little care of how he was screwing this guy around for over a year. Now that he's been put In the spot light of poor business practices wham knife is done. Lordy lordy it's a Miracle. His wife if it was his wife came on here and bashed him making every excuse under the sun of why this why that just give the guy what is his money or a quality knife end of story. And the topper is this guy let's his wife speak for him again if it's his wife why? I'll tell ya why because he knows he pulled a shitbag stunt and doesn't want men calling him out on it.

I see that Mr. and Mrs. Faulk have been making phone calls to get some of their buds to lie for them.

Praytell, what is your opinion on Mr. Faulk taking over a year to produce this knife with little to no communication? What do you have to say about him being a coward and making his wife answer for him (with nothing but excuses, I might add)?

On what planet does this constitute good or even acceptable customer service?

We love hearing about stories when makers and dealers go above and beyond for their customers.

Sadly, this thread is not one of them. Just because you had a great experience with them does not lessen the original poster's complaint in the least. He's been out a knife and money for over a year and has been given the run around with time frames and poor communication.

Mrs. Faulk, the Vice President of their company, came here to explain what was going on and apologize. Great. However, she has yet to give a refund or send the knife. She says that Bill is the only one (BS) who can do this then she needs to let him know to step up and deal with this. Not other satisfied costumers.

You people are ridiculous. Bill and I live in Alabama! Terry is a customer from Texas! MaineHunter lives in Florida. Please do check the IPs, Mr Genius! I have yet to hear my husband's cell phone ring one single time! As far as his cell phone number goes.....yes, it's been posted right on the website from the very beginning!!! As far as who I am, I AM BILL FAULK's WIFE! Whomever you are making these accusations about false identifies....you are sounding like the schizo, yourself! I bet like you are like the Dish customer sitting with his binoculars watching his neighbors and checking your cheese!
 
Everyone needs to relax. Speculation and name-calling isn't going to help this situation. This is going to be locked for a bit. If any additional relevant updates from either side are available, please contact a mod and we can open the thread back up.
