I think a performance grind version of this (or any CPK knife) should be available. Not all of us using the knives as a pry bar or axe replacement. Just saying no offence

FK1 and FK2 are “slicier” than the BFK. And there is a “hard/thin” version of the FK2, dubbed “bad idea” by Nathan.

Yeah, but I like the blade profile of FBK better as a woods knife. Not to mention it has a better price tag

I think thin is a food idea, but hard and thin might not as the impact toughness of 3V reduces disproportionately when it gets harder than 60.5. So, I think 60.5-61 should be the maximum for 3V regardless of how thin you go. Of course, if you go too thin edge would roll-up. But I have 59-60 HRC LC200N with 10 thousand behind the edge and the edge does not roll up if it is used properly.

You'll have more opportunities to nab one in upcoming sales. I think Nathan said there were 800 total. Even if they're being sold 40 at a time, that's somewhere close to 20 Friday sales. I'm not sure if the CW versions were part of the 800 number or not.

Yep. $999 on eBay, plus shipping.
Oh no way I’m buying it. I wouldn’t buy it from that guy on principle alone. It’s a currently produced knife and he wants over three times what Nathan sells it for? No way.

I’ll have to get a proxy for the next sale.
