Nice pick-up.
Nice pick-up.I love my M390-on-washers orange Hati user and there's a lot of pics on that one here at the Den and elsewhere at BF and USN. RWL34 is an interesting steel and one I don't have in my accumulation so far. Named for Robert W (Bob) Loveless, it was developed by DamaSteel and is a PM version of ATS-34, similar to Crucible's CPM154 which is their version of 154-CM--3 steels that Iike a lot which are easily sharpenable to very keen edges and not bad at retaining them.
Interesting...
I'm simply stating broadly how the knife community often shuns one steel (154 in this case) as outdated and bland (even though custom makers love it) and another (RWL) as exciting. Nothing to do with you or anyone in particular, just what I've seen over the years. Can be said for many steels, actually.Interesting...
To be honest, I only have one knife in CPM154, a McGinnis ProLine Valve which I've not sharpened nor used extensively to this point. My approval of that one was based on my experience with 154-CM, a steel that I've had in numerous knives, used a bunch, and re-sharpened several times. I just kinda assumed the PM version would be equal or better, but you know what it makes when one assumes...
I would like to find a scale maker also. If you find one please let us know.
HAHA. You're done forDept_13_knifes on IG makes amazing scales for Shiro's. Also I just bought a Kami.... Why did I poke my head into this thread![]()
So you picked it up! I been kicking myself in the behind ever since. I went to buy it, second thoughted, went back and hour later and it was gone. Lol. Glad it’s being appreciated.
Love the colors in thatOklahoma Outlaw !!!
I see no reason why removing the clip would cause any harm. To my knowledge, the general configuration of the clip and mount on the NL is quite the same as that on other F95's, appears so in pics of current models, and seems to match that my older F95T and more recent F95R . I don't presently own an NL but had the NL World Tour knife to play with for three weeks back in June of 2019 and my pics of that model seem to agree.ChazzyP do you know if the pocket clip on the F95NL can be removed without harming anything?
Thanks in advance.

There's no structural aspect to the clip mount or screw in terms of holding the knife together--it's entirely independent of the rear standoff. If you're thinking of carrying the knife clipless, there is something of an aesthetic consideration involved. I just snapped this quick, crappy pic of my work user Turtle after removing the clip so you can see how it's mounted and stabilized--not real pretty to look at with the clip off.
Sweet knife you've got there, BTW.
Duh. That's coz I forgot to post it.Thanks! I don’t see the pic however.

I just tried that but my phone is stupidly low on charge, so no pic. The screw tip comes pretty close to the blade, so you should try it and see how (un)comfortable you are with it.So, it has an index pin in the scales I see.
I’m assuming I could just put the screw back in just leaving the index pin exposed, right?
