The Bears' Den--Shirogorov Showcase

After quite a bit of hunting I finally managed to get my hands on a Quantum. It's my first Shirogorov and I'm completely blown away. If I had to sell my entire collection tomorrow and keep only one knife, I genuinely think it would be the Quantum.

Nice! This one is on my short list. It will compliment my FS NS quite nicely.

It would be extremely hard for me to just pick one of my Shiro's. They are all great in their different ways!
Every time I pick one I find something I like more in another.

For those of you who thought that all the "new style" tip profiles are the same, here are the F95R NL and F3 NS. The F3 has a noticeably thinner tip since it drops at a different angle, I don't know if this is only my case or not. The F3 is older (before color variations) and the 95 newer (TKI edition), both originally came with very similar BTE thickness aprox. at 0.0115 and 0.0110 inches (measured close to the choil). Take a look, you can even see the unevenness of my hand sharpening (each blade has been sharpened only twice)..
