The Bears' Den--Shirogorov Showcase

Rusblades is not an authorized dealer and is, therefore, a secondary dealer which means the price can be and usually is more than the official price. The only authorized dealers for the western market are Recon1 and KnifeCenter. I did buy the Sinkevich pivot tool form Rusblades and received it and use it without problem.
How long did it take for the item to arrive? What shipping option did you select? Thank you.

This was several years ago, and what I should have said was a bought the Sinkevich bit from Rusblades not the tool. From what I remember it took several weeks to receive it and at one point I assumed I wouldn’t. I did eventually receive and the bit (which, if I remember correctly, was not an official Shiro product but not necessarily bootleg) has a better fit on the Sigma (a Shirogorov/Sinkevich collaboration) than the the official Shiro pen/bit holder I bought. Again, I’m not entirely certain about the shipping time. Josh at REK Knives REK Knives offered to make me the bit using the pivot itself as a mold but I declined the offer because I didn’t want to send a knife I had just received in.

After some time with all 3 - I've decided the Stellar SR is the one for me. F3NS and Neon are both truly fantastic pieces - the CD Neon in particular surprised me by how much better it was, for me, than the productions. That being said, both knives had their quirks/things that I found a bit lacking, personally.

The F3NS had an incredible hydraulic action, but I think part of making that happen was the detent being (in my opinion) very light. Never had issues flipping the knife at all, but it definitely was lighter than I preferred. The Neon on the other hand has always been too small for me, and I was hoping the contoured handles changed that opinion - but no dice. The execution of the CD is truly fantastic and I went back and forth on keeping it - if not for the Stellar it probably would have been the one to stay.

I'll just have to console myself with the Stellar and the eventual Shiro/Cook Lochsa collab(and am prepared to pay for one of those if I'm not a lucky boy). Hope everyone had great holidays and has exciting and relaxing new years plans!
