Getting roller bearings to lay in flat is indeed a royal PIA,

I've found it best with those, as well as with loose steel bb's, to stay away from magnetic holders, as the small parts pic up a charge easily and stick to anything steel nearby and the magnet can easily pick up one that's already in place. I have a nylon tipped tweezer which I don't have to squeeze hard to get the part close to its destination and use a wooden swab handle in the other hand to maneuver it into place. It's still a PIA, but I seem to spend less time and suffer less frustration that way.

The Shiro Lefty 95 has been my edc abut 50% of the time when a CRK isn't there. It's been a good year with it.

I've observed the same phenomenon, but I think it's actually the bearings that have become magnetized.

I tried to join this site after I got into Shirogorov knives last February (ordered my first one a week before the Ukraine invasion and I've now got 7, lol). USN is where all the good Shiro info seems to come from. I've seen where others have run into some sort of unbeatable captcha thing, but in my case, the gmail address I've used since 2006 wasn't good enough. Do I need a pay e-mail like proton etc?

I was going for a 9 Shiro's in 9 Days carry rotation, but got side-tracked over the long weekend by the new Micarta scales I installed on my Kapara. I got back into it yesterday with my Turtle and followed up with the RDD today. I had a couple spare pics of my Doctor's house call so I might as well stick 'em here....
