https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Tortoise was finishing up and the final bit didn't ship from the factory until Thursday; which means most dealers didn't get them until yesterday. A few of the chestnut shipped to the small orders on Thursday but the big part of them won't ship from the factory until tomorrow. They are just getting going on the smooth ivory, so don't expect the biggest part of them to ship from the factory on Friday. Beer glasses had to come UPS (at least to me) so I am getting my first batch today (crossing fingers).
Hey guys, pardon my newness... but where is the best place to order these new GEC releases from?
Wow, pristine looking Tortoise, Paul! You dawg, I wondered if you were getting any?
Hey ED, I think that's a great idea for making the shield less bold and it looks fantastic on yours!![]()
I agree with all others Paul, I really like how deep that acrylic looks

You certainly got a killer one, Paul! If I could just nerd out for a moment. Here's mine in the tray at the factory last week. Pre bail of course.

Just to let everyone know, there was so much oil in both my new knife's joints when I received them that it made the operating of the blades slow or sluggish. Once I washed out the joints and re-oiled them, all changed for the better. Great snap on both now, like a new knife should be. Can't wait for my smooth bone either!
Ok a couple questions regarding the history of this new knife:
1) What pattern Scout knife is this from?
2) Who made the 1st "Beer Scout" and coined the name?
