The Beer Scout Knife

Guard that beautiful Tortoise, jorjor! Caleb might just try to sneak it away!:very_drunk:

I will sneak it away but I will promise to return it with an opened full beer. Hopefully with sand in neither from the beach.

I have my sunbrite waiting back home in my mailbox so I'm excited to check this out tomorrow.

I do have my ebony/diamond radio jack to keep me company, but I don't think this is the thread for a pic of that.

Drink on, my friends!

Thanks Barry!

I wondered when we would see the beautiful Chestnut saw cut! Mark, that one is gorgeous!

Good man, Caleb, bring me one while you're at it.:p Expecting my smooth Ivory on Wednesday. Hoping it shows Tuesday, for IPA night!:D

I've had mine for a few days now. My first experience with gecs tortoise shell and I've got to say that I'm suprised by how pretty it is, and the depth that it has to it.
Since its such a "fun spirited" knife, I thought it was only fitting to give it a lanyard, made with some rainbow paracord I had laying around, and one of my homemade belt clips. I think it adds that little something extra lol

I've never carried a knife suspended in my pocket, it works quite well.

Had some fun with TBSK last night opening friends brews.

Slightly ashamed to say that, at one point, I even got carried away and started launching the caps off of twist off bottles haha :D

Thanks Barry!

Wow! The saw cut bone looks incredible! With this saw cut bone, the peach seed, and some of their other jigged bone handles, they could set up shop as a competitor to Culpepper.

...not that they would. Just saying it's that good. They've really improved over the years.

According to the tracking there should be a smooth bone waiting for me in the mailbox when I get home from work...........why is the clock moving sooooooo slow today?

I'm looking at mine :) quick question for the people that got theirs already, is it easy to get your finger nail to the bottle opener?

This knife is a beauty.

Like I said before, anybody have problems opening the bottleopener?

Update: I think it's mostly due to a strong spring and leverage angle, I'm gonna leave it in the semi-half position to loosen up the spring

It's been proven that method does absolutely nothing to loosen the back spring. There has been much discussion here about that topic. It never worked for me nor many others that tried it. You'll probably have better luck giving the knife a spa bath with warm water and dish soap. Flush out that grit from the factory, dry completely and oil the joints. It should lessen the pull a bit and make things much smoother.

Thanks for showin' off that bee-you-tee-ful saw cut Mark! The covers on this run are really exceptional, and the SC is my favorite so far.

Apparently there were some issues with the USPS last week, and a lot of the SC's were delayed.:grumpy:

Ha, I guess thats like the old "put batteries in the refridgerator" method. I'll flush/ clean out the knife more when I get some time.
