The Beer Scout Knife

Not a dog in the bunch fellas! Honestly, these turned out so much better than I even imagined!
Smoooooth,
Look at the white marrow shown thru, I love it!
First pic taken after all the gunk was cleaned out, what a difference now!

all these photos keep me on my toes for the eventual soda scouts Perry, really great captures :)

Great photo and 2 beers Jake I feel like I need one of them espresso's right about now

I'll get to play with the rest of you some day. I pre-ordered ebony and micarta...... The last in line........

The knives are looking fantastic! I have been out of town for the last week. So, I had a chance to play with my new beer scout arrivals! Tortoise and chestnut. I will say the chestnut has really surprised me. It is so much better looking in person than I'd imagined! Sorry too much catching up to take photos today.

Here's a better shot of the smooth. Shows the difference in the bone, almost looks like horn at times and at certain angles.

I think you're right, TX! Chestnut saw cut is the best of this bunch, without a doubt!

I am also waiting for the soda scouts to hit the production floor! I have a commitment in for one in the blood red sawcut bone. I have only seen a couple photos on the web that I think are this handle type. Can anyone in the know confirm that this is GEC's blood red sawcut bone?

Well worth it Dean. Perry, you're right. Not a bad one in the bunch. GEC is really raising the bar lately with their offerings and quality control.

Just got the Ivory Bone BS in the mail. Too, dark and rainy for pics. Couldn't match the ones already shown, anyway. But, suffice it to say, great job Great Eastern. That bone is gorgeous. I've been wanting a caplifter for some time. This one is a beaut. Now, I can't wait for the Gabon Ebony.

That's what we are looking for!

Ivory Bone?

I was going to start a new thread but I'll keep it here. What's ivory bone? Seem as if the experts want to tell the difference between them.
