The Beer Scout Knife

It's still a dumb name for a knife [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41] kidding guys before you beat on me for my dissenting opinions [emoji41] but hey sold on here in a nano second for all my money invested back, someone else is really happy to have it spun the funds around hence and my new #15 with the sheeps foot blade and caplifter arrives tomorrow (and no BSK logo however sadly no bail) guess all is well that ends well !

I don't know, when this pattern was announced I just wasn't interested. OK fine, I have a number of 15s and TC Barlows so I don't need more, good situation.

Then I eyed the Tortoise...not quite...

Then I saw the Ivory Bone and it turned my head!:D:D

It's en route to Europe across the mighty Atlantic right now. There's plenty of beer and good cider with tops that need opening waiting for it here:thumbup:

I mentioned in another thread some weeks ago that I thought Ivory Sawn Bone would make a very nice new scale option for GEC, let's see if it fell on deaf ears....

Thanks, Will

Mine is also on his way home. Glad you left me a turtle as I wanted one like that for a long time. Ivory Bone also looks good too, but one has to make choices ...
He's due for the very next days as it reached CdG airport yesterday. I hope he had the good idea to bring some openable stuff from one of the many duty free shops he crossed in so many airports (Seattle/Kent/L.A./Ft Worth) during the (not so long after all) journey!

Will - I did pass on the suggestion of sawcut white bone when I was at GEC. They said it was within the realm of possibility.

Nice pics Erik and Takokato.
That cocobolo sure has a lot of personality.

(say Takokato's cocobolo 3 times in a row really fast :D)

I spy some red sawcut in the "What's Happening" page! Looks really nice!

Not-so-patiently awaiting my cocobolo and sawcut today. Come ON, mailman!

Damn, that cocobolo looks fantastic. And here I thought I was good with the Sunbrite, the micarta and the ebony... :(

A picture of a few everyone is waiting on I think. (from the GEC website)
