Yep. He's great. Knife collecting has sort of become a family thing over the years. We all have our own collections. We go camping together, and make sure to do some horse trading now and then. Lots of knife rolls opening up and going through each others collections.
 
Darn this thread. I just ordered ebony. Gonna be a wedding present for a buddy I think. Glad saw cut wasn't available or I may have had a fourth.

We should get the email for the Micarta and Red Jig Bone Soda Scouts any day now... I'm quite excited as I have one of each on order. I even sold some modern knives to pay for these (and I don't feel a bit bad about it).

What is/are Derrik's (knivesshipfree) SFO scale choice(s) going to be? I can't find it anywhere. Are Derrik's and Barry's SFO's both going to have the generic Scout shield?
 
I believe the KSF SFO is going to be Blood Orange smooth camel bone and no shield. Barry's SFO is going to be Brazilian Rosewood with a bow tie shield.

Awesome. Thank you. Those are going to be hard to resist. I'm glad I got my one Beer Scout shielded smooth ivory bone, I've personally liked it the best but having the those two different options is really tempting. None of the others have really done much for me though the tortoise shell acrylic was nice looking.
 
Those natural micarta covers are going to look really good once they get some sweat and hand oil worked into them.
 
After a week in San Francisco for work, I came home to find my knife and glasses waiting for me. While we found many tasty things to eat in SF, pizza wasn't one of them, so I ordered some Papa Johns to go with my beer. :)

The knife is awesome. For a GEC, the F&F on mine is top notch, and the pint glasses are really cool too.
