The Beer Scout Knife

Now I see why they are sold out! Guys are buying duplicates. LOL

My Beer Scout hangs on an 18" paracord lanyard (snake knot). The lanyard runs through a belt loop up front, and hangs into my back pocket, next to my wallet. I can make most cuts without ever having to remove the knife from the lanyard.

Where can I buy that lanyard!?

Take a closer look at the photo. The knives aren't duplicates. The one in the foreground has a spear blade, a 1 of 3 parts knife made for this year's GEC rendezvous.

First off, I'm not a traditional knife guy, just wanted to get that out of the way. That said, I stumbled across The Beer Scout and immediately knew I had to try on. Rather quickly I found a tortoise shell BS, worked out a deal with a fellow BF member and two quick days later I just opened my first beer with it.

I have to say, this is a great knife. Fit and finish is excellent and its kind of cool to have traditional pocket knife like my Grandfather would have carried. Plus, this knife has one hell of a fun factor to it. It's just cool.

Who makes that slip case?

You can get em at the website written on the case. Knivesshipfree dot com.
It's for my Northwoods Fremont but works well with other knives, like this one!
Never bought one on its own but they come with certain orders

Great choice of beer there too! I am also from NKY

Not enough pictures of the Club glass..so here with my Trippel/triple. Surprisingly good with salmon and pesto. The ebony BS did the honors

I bought one a few days ago. It's one size fits most though. Should arrive in a few days.

Very nice that we have a lot of good local choices around here now. If you have not tried them, Moerlein Push Reel and Strawberry Pig are two of my favorites for summer this year.
Rhinegeist Cougar is another.

Beautiful knives everyone! I was late to the party on this one, as I was for the '15 BF's knife but I have one of each on the way. Pics when they arrive.
