The best EDC knife?

uhm theres a rat 1 30 dollars aus8 steel like five ounces not heavy in my pov may differ 2 u but theres the flash 2 meets youre criteria exactly

I recently got a SOG Flash 1 and can't recommend it. It has a pretty cool assisted open, fun to play with, but it is tiny. I have medium sized hands and it is just too small for me. It has two finger choils, but you can't actually fit two fingers into them. Also, perhaps it is solid, but the lock mechanism rattles and doesn't feel solid.

I actually got it because I was looking for a replacement for my Gerber LST that I often throw into my pocket, and especially like when counting grams backpacking. The LST is much more comfortable in the hand, and I think I'll just keep using it.

The Delica 4 was also mentioned, I got one recently and am increasing enamored of it's design. That I can highly recommend.

If you don't mind spending a little extra, I strongly recommend any of the Emerson CQC knives. They range between $150 and $250. (My favorite is the Mini CQC 15).

Otherwise, if you're not comfortable with spending that much, the SOG Flash II is a great knife too.

For me the Benchmade Kulgara works best with the Caly III close behind. I have not been fortunate enough to carry a custom yet, but I have my eye on a Sebenza. For 60.00 I would go with the mini grip.

Just saw they have a deal on the Buck Vantage Pro (S30V/G10) $40-50 (40% off of $80) on their website. That is probably the best knife for your money.

How about a Buck Vantage? I carry an Avid and it is fully concealed. I live with a lot of sheeple around me, so I carry it inside the waistband with the clip between my jeans and belt. Very comfortable, I don't even know I am carrying it, and neither does anyone else :)
