The BladeForums 2022 Traditional Knife Thread

I get it. It's a little lame that they are gonna raise the price but ide still get one if I met the requirement.
Why is it lame that Porch members who have been supporting the Forum for many years both with their participation and financially should not be recognized? The qualifications were clearly stated from the beginning. The Porch is a beautiful place and for those who may have had a problem with meeting the Gold Membership threshold but met the other requirements I’m sure that would have been waved.

Because like P pholder Said you are paying a higher price for whats left over.

Don't get me wrong. I would still like to have one and will look for one on the exchange since I don't meet the requirements but I understand the complaint.

There are no left overs, which implies that they are seconds. With membership comes the privilege of paying less for the initial offering. Spark Spark and Charlie put a lot of their time into making this happen and time is $.

It is my opinion that the quality of this knife is a steal at the original price, and a very good deal for an additional fee as well. It’s a quality knife without a doubt. I would have happily paid more for it. It’s very well done and has a very useful blade combo.

The remaining knives are not leftovers, they are extras available to qualified members.

The best pricing was for pre-orders made and paid for 4-5 months ago. It makes perfect sense that a pre-paid pre-order costs less than an immediately available knife for immediate delivery.

I predict the remaining 30 or so BladeForums 2022 Traditional Knives will be gone in less time than it took me to write this sentence. Good luck friends in getting yours.

The 2022 BF knife campaign was fair and square.

My hat is off to the powers that be.

I have no issue with the price being higher. That’s how a ton of things are, concerts, conferences, conventions, etc. tickets are cheaper earlier on and more expensive at the gate.

However, someone giving a non supporting dealer knives to sell on their site, that’s pretty ridiculous and a slap in the face to the owner of the forum IMO.

There's already a guy with four of them in his possession on the Faceyspace somehow. 🤷

Linke me to that post. All the serial numbers I got are accounted for and if they came from me, that person will be blacklisted.
The bought one, #267, I assume normally, one through the dealer who sold some, and one was on the exchange here. Not sure on the other

It's on the Slipjoint Exchange. The knives are turned over to obscure any numbers.
I know two of the numbers already, and one is stated as a S model so that came from Charlie. This is why all knives, going forward, will be going through me, and why I put together a list of who got what.
