Still surprised I haven’t seen a Big Lebowski joke in this thread yet… Anyways, I really like it Charlie, and thanks for showing the historical examples!
I was wondering why the total was off but didn’t fret it. Figured my might just be shipping and I wasn’t paying attention. No rush for sure. I probably speak for everyone when I say thank you for your’s and Charlie’s work on making these happen.Regarding serial numbers. When orders are closed I'm going to be putting together a spreadsheet with names, usernames, addresses and such for my use. At that time I will start taking requests for serial numbers NOT BEFORE.
I will also start issuing refunds for shipping for those first hundred who got hit at that time, it'll be easier for me to tackle it then. I have NOT FORGOTTEN about that.
Thanks for the examples, Charlie! I'd never heard of a bunny knife before this. Here you will see some older "Bunny" blades!!View attachment 1961058View attachment 1961059

Some years ago, settling Australians thought introducing rabbits to their environment would be a good idea, providing a ready source of food in an ideal climate. That was really just a marketing ploy. I never saw one with an etch, the ones sold here were mainly all from England and came like this. I'm not saying that some did not come with an etch but i never saw one, the first ones i ever saw were much later after i started collecting knives, i lost my first one, but this is one i have that i bought years ago.I get that the original versions had something similar,
Hopefully it's not super deep etched. I would also prefer is it was just about any picture of a bunny, over lettering. The etch is indeed a bit of a bummer. Not because of its size or content, but rather that its font is a plain and modern looking one that seems out of place on an otherwise very traditional pattern.
The good news is, it's easy to remove if it bothers one too much.
