The BladeForums 2022 Traditional Knife Thread

It's not that i take so much care of the rabbits but If Adam had had the balls to crush the head of the snake by a heel blow we wouldn't have known such troubled times.

Dan.
Most snakes are best dispatched by a grab at the tail end, a few circular lasso motions, and a final snap like a whip. I'm secretly a scared little girly man and tend to use my daily carry if stumbled upon and I can't tuck my bunny tail and run.

I only fear vipers. I usually let them go but if they are close to my house i have no mercy. As here they are not much longer than one foot i wouldn't dare to handle them and prefer to use the heel of my heavy boots. It has happened twice last summer, i hate that.

They'll ship when they ship but I wonder when that will be? I got my notification from AAPK that their club knife (GEC Muskrat) is ready for purchase and shipping so it looks like other club/forum knives are in line to be made by GEC. I wonder where we are in the line?

I'm definitely a girly man when it comes to snakes. I like that they keep the mice at bay though. I had a copperhead in my garage a couple years and he had to be dealt with. A flat blade shovel made quick work and allowed me to remain at a safe, girly man distance.

I used to have the bf tagline..
"we are men of action, lies do not become us."
How apt that now seems to me with regard to the end of my career in the nswfb.
Ok Jon, you have confused my feeble mind. nswfb? Remember I’m OLD! 😜

Thats the one cudgee cudgee .
30 yrs on the pump.
But lets find a happy subject more related to the Australian bunnies...:
Roadkill...in my current job I drive a school bus from Narooma to Bermagui...the warm weather produces a new victim nearly everyday....including Wallabies
Kangaroos
Wombats
Possums
Pythons
Red Bellied Blacks Snakes
Various birds
As well as Rabbits....
All of these may be processed with the GEC BF 2022 " Bunny Knife"......if needed.
Please watch for traffic.
