The Bladerunr:Trade gone Bad??

Ok, heres the situation.I set up a trade with this member and thought it would go smoothly.Hes a Gold member and has been here since 2000 with 17 Positive feedbacks.
I immediately shipped his knife and promptly emailed him saying I did so and giving him the DC# so he had proof and a way of tracking, and also to pleaase let me know when it arrives.His response was simply "Will Do".

I expected it to be more than that, I thought for sure he would atleast tell me that he had or is going to ship as well and this is your DC#, but no nothing.
I might say that his response times were very spread out.I sent him another PM asking if he had shipped and could I have my DC#, finally he replied with "I'll give it to you when I get home".OK, I leave for work at 4PM and return home at 1AM, no new message and he had logged on twice?!

I again message him and this time with a sense of urgancy, stating that I am starting to feel very bad about this trade and I REALLY need some proof of shipment.He again says only this"I'll give it to you tonight"

At this point he has already recieved his knife from me according to the DC#, and I pretty much know I've been taken.So I do a little searching in his Visitor messages and find that another member that he is trading with also asked if he had shipped yet and could he get a DC#.Well that confirmed it for me.
I PMed him yesterday afternoon and have not heard from him since....

I hope I'm wrong and Bladerunr is just overwhelemed right now and will eventually ship my knife, I mean a paying member since 2000 with 17 feedbacks????its just odd.

Bladerunr if you are reading this please ease my mind bro.
 
I am that other member and I have been emailing him all week as well. Axxording to the dc number he got his knife on thursday and as of today I have received nothing. If I don't hear something by next week I will be forced to take more drastic steps in order to receive my goods. I know everyone gets overwhlmed and I know I have taken a few days longer in shipping something but at least I have been a man about it and admitted it. Dave if you're reading this, let's make this trade right and put it behind us, or just send me my knife back and we can forget about this. One or the other is fine, your call and your move.
 
Well he just logged on at 5:41.I guess he is choosing to put his BF rep on the line.I sent him several PMs today including one with a link to this thread.He chose not to respond to either of them.
He is now logged off.
If a mod is reading this, is there any way you can PM him and ask him to respond to this thread.Maybe seeing an Admin involved will force a reply.
 
Just recieved this message from Bladerunr, what a great guy.I obviously bleeped out the curse words.What can I possibly do now.My knife is gone for good.

Man... that's crazy. I highly doubt you see the knife again. Sorry. He, obviously, needs to be removed from this site, IMO.
 
thebladerunr seems to have been a good guy for a long time. Let's not rush him off the plank if he's got a few problems in his way just now. Patience. We will work this out.

You're right, as usual. But, the threat of keeping the guy's knife is pretty serious.
 
My reply PM would say:

"Very well, I have your address. If I don't have a tracking number from you within three days, I'm calling your local police department and opening a mail fraud investigation."

I actually executed this strategy a couple of months ago with somebody on here who did exactly what this person is doing. Needless to say it was resolved in my favor almost instantaneously.

I actually told him I would do that and got the response posted above.
 
If you can prove that he signed for the package, I'd just go ahead and call the police on Monday. There's no evidence here that he has any respect for you or your property.

No signature, insurance was $190, but the DC# says it was delivered.I want to wait and see what his reply is to Esav's PM before I do anything.
 
im just gonna go out and say that while he was slow with sending me my money, it was sent and there was no problems.

thebladerunnr is good in my book, sorry for the rest of you guys!
 
Well sometimes people lives get a little hectic and things happen. However if you have time to log on you have time to PM, especially after receiveing the other members knife.

His off color response does'nt help either. Hopefully it all works out.
 
After seeing his response, i have to say....
What he is doing is not how things are done around here.
If he can't be bothered to complete the deal in a timely manner, fails to communicate, threatens to keep another members property and reacts in such a manner to a problem he has brought upon himself, he should be banned and the authorities notifed.

Sorry Bladerunr, but you only have yourself to blame.
 
Wow, from good guy to POS in one thread.

Must be tired of knives and sick of having a good reputation.

The threat about keeping the knife is classic, is he 13 years old?

If in fact the bladerunr sent that message to you in a PM, A. he is a f*****g idiot to think that he in any way could keep your knife if someone contacted him, and B. a thief. period.

save all communication, notify the authorities, including his local police department and the postal inspector.

Someone with that mentality has no place on these forums or in the knife community.

oh its the real deal bro,,I couldn't possibly make something that psychotic up.
I've involved Esav and I'm gonna wait a few more days to see if he can get David to calm down and see the light.
I am in contact with Zack, and we will pursue this all the way if we have to.
I just can't believe he would actually send me that message knowing that I could/would go public with it.
