The Bladerunr:Trade gone Bad??

These threads are great to figure out who not to do business with. I don't think I would chance this guy. It's all wierd though cause it seems he was top notch for a long time..

17 good transactions and then one or two bad ones can seriously ruin a person's reputation. If there is an explanation then so be it but so far, no sensible excuse has been offered. I plan to stay out of it for now and hope these guys get their knives back or whatever. Good luck. And The Bladerunr or whatever your name is, if your life is messed up for some reason good luck to you too, man. I suggest you make this right.

Hope you guys get everything worked out. Please do leave appropriate feedback. I can personally say Mr. Baker was one of the nicest, most trusting bladeforums members I've dealt with. I don't know the time frame on this transaction but claiming he had an attitude seems far fetched.

Thanks Hoopster I really appreciate those kind words.I hope it works out as well, especially for Zack.

...oh and BTW, that StreetBeat sheath is still workin out great:)

Jon is a class act all the way. even if his knives get returned bladerunr is on my "do not deal with" list.

hope it all works out buddy

This is a sucky situation. I bought from Bladerunr a few years ago with no problem. He has lost his marbles. I would keep up with pressing charges against him. Being late on a deal is one thing, but there is no call for his attitude.

nope. but i will. can you guys who did email me the info. thanks!

I went to the postal inspector website as did Jon. Google can find it for you. Then I called Bullhead City police dept...again google and asked to speak with someone who works with mail fraud.

I live in Az let me know and i will gladly go try and repo your knife for you bud! :D

well well, looky looky.....with your attitude yes i took my time

I fail to see where either of the fellows that thebladerunner has dealt with here have posed any attitude issues. Is it just me or does this guy seem to act unbalanced? I will say a prayer for you to not be so mean.

Well I left a note in my mailbox that if the mailman saw the box in question to send it to me. Not holding my breath though, either way I should know something tomorrow. In my mind I have already written it off as a total loss, which sucks because I really liked my Scarab. I also hope that if I get it, it isn't beat to hell either. It was near mint when I sent it to him.

I will admit I got pretty irate in some of the emails I have sent him, but I was at the end of my rope. I don't have a lot of money after being unemployed for 14 months, and it would take me forever to by another Scarab. In the end I think my trading days are over except for a select few people who I have done business with in the past. Its too risky and I don't have the cash outlay to pay for a replacement.

How far off was he on the address?I hope it works out for you my man, this situation Fubar, and I've yet to hear an explanationa s to why he acted the way he did.

I'm also holding my breath till I have the package in hand, and hope that my knife is in the same condition as when I sent it out.Which was beyond immaculate.

about 12 more hours and I'll know...

What I am scared of is the address he listed simply doesn't exist. I live on 701 C Lee Ave. He listed 7016 Lee Ave, which in my town does not exist. I have only lived in this townhouse for a few months, and the Postman doesn't know me like my former postwoman. She knew my name and would recover the package just from the name, but I was also trading a lot more then, usually 3-4 knives a week. So, if the address doesn't exist where does the knife go? My guess is back to the shipper aka the bladerunr. So, I should know when I come home for lunch tomorrow.

If the address doesn't exist, that may actually be better. You may be able to visit the P.O. and let them know what the deal is. They might get it right the first time since it's at least the correct street.
It will probably return to sender if they don't figure it out so if you can give them a heads-up in advance, it might help.

Chances are the MM will notice the error since everything is correct but one number in the address.
Hoopster is right though I would go to the PO first thing and inquire about it or perhaps wait for the MM and ask if he/she has it on them...

Contact a supervisor at the post office for your zip code and let them know about the mistake in advance. Perhaps the post office can redirect or hold it for you. They should be able to easily verify that the written address is not valid and will have some history of you at your current address even if you have only been there for a few months. So very sad that this has become so complicated.
