The Bose "BackPocket" Knife

...but if I did, this would be my prefered method.

I'll never be able to think about backpocket knives in quite the same way anymore!

:p

Thanks for the reply Tony.

I can see your look in smooth handle and the "cut" of the blade, what did you do to make it a good back pocket knife? I believe it is a little shorter but with all these side views, one can't tell thickness. Is your version a little thinner for the back pocket?

A backPocket knife is ANY big knife that you carry in your back pocket.

Exactly - I used to carry an old U.S. Schrade LB7 upright, next to my wallet, in high school, and a lot of my friends did the same. Being a broke teenager, it was 'fatter' than my wallet, so it rarely fell over.

For those of you that carry these in your backpocket, do you sit on them or do you push them vertical whenever you need to sit down?
Adam

We had a friend in Montana who trapped coyotes, and worked deerhide & leather. He made himself a pocket sheath that was a flap of leather (as wide as his pocket) that sat behind his wallet, and one side had a sheath for his Buck 110. Even without his wallet in his pocket, it held the knife upright. (Similar in principle to Elliott's posted link.)

These days, I'd be afraid my knife would fall out if not secured in a sheath or something.

thx - cpr

Here's what my Sweet Friend sent to Camp Bop...
