The Buck you want most of all......

Jeff, hard to find but not impossible! This was on fleabay as part of a 3 knife auction. Was surprized when it arrived as it was in perfect condition....no I do not want to part with it. :D

Can't figure why this thread died back in 2008! I guess everyone got the Buck they wanted the most ...or they all gave up and went home?

Anyway, right now, late March 2010, I'm hoping to find a 315 Yachtsman in better than fair shape -- don't mind if it shows some use and sharpening -- no interest in "the box" -- a "315-stamped" sheath would be a big bonus but not critical by any means.

Now, if I found 2, and one was an "America's Cup" commemorative, I'd sell that one to 300Bucks to "finance" the one I'd keep for myself! :) ;)

I seems impossible that everyone got what they wanted-seem everytime I get a must have, another takes its place:eek::thumbup:

Welcome to the forum Jim, I've seen a couple 315s on the auction site recently in good condition-just must be vigilant.
 
I'd really like a Heritage Series knife the Duke 500 delivered in August . I looked thru my sheaths until I found a brown leather sheath for a 112 in excellant condition for this Duke . Now I have a optional colored sheath for it should I prefer this over the black on Fridays . DM ;)
 
I ordered the SMR Heritage 110 while I'm deliberating on whether I should also buy a 532 or a whole set. That was so I would definitely have at least the 110 if the others sold out before I could make up my mind. I had a lean winter this year but things will definitely pick up in April. :)

But my MOST WANTED: A NS 110 with a top quality Sambar Stag handle, a mirror polished S30V blade with a wolf cut-out (that's right) , a wolf's head engraved on the front bolsters and a wolf's paw print on the rear bolsters. No, not a wolf, but a wolf dog - the one in my avatar. No, it hasn't been made.

I'd give up my whole collection for that.

Finally found that DYH Jet Fighter, but the problem is when you find the one you want most of all, there is always another one next of the list that then becomes the one you want most of all!! :)
 
The one knife i wish i had but will probasbly never evr get is a 110 with a drop point and some stag,it would instantly take over as my main hunting blade.LOL

i have had that on my ebay watch list and google list for over a year now!
 
A 812 or 813 with the serrated blade, and the toolbox selector. Sorry my tastes are different.

I took that picture 2 days ago and i have been searching high and low for the knife ever since. How could it disappear? This is sooooooooo aggravating.
I have a one bedroom-there is no place to hide!!

Right now id like to buy the same knife again if i could!!! Id put a microchip in it somewhere. Aaaaarrrrrrrrgh!!
 
Since I'm kinda new--I would like to have a 3 dot finger groove, 112, newer sharpened or near and an early 124 micarta nib if possible. Not looking for much am I?

Hey Fritz! You do get around! :)

By "the auction site" are you reffing eBay? ...or some other auction that I obviously should know about?

There was a nice 315 Yachtsman on eBay last week but it went for pretty big $bucks$ I'm guessing because it included the original cardboard box.

...and then, of course, as I continue to hunt and research my need increases and the price that seemed high awhile back is now sounding more and more reasonable :confused: :o
 
A nice 315 is not as far away as it looks like.

I'm searching for a 500 scrimshaw "loom" together with the original wooden display box.
If somebody has one to share, I would give two knives for one:

A 315 Yachtsman



And a 321 Birds knife



What do you think?
