The Bushfinger thread

I'm a big fan of my 3/32 Ladyfinger. I'm a little shy about using it hard, probably because it's so damn gorgeous, but also I don't want to damage it. Though I think thats's a bit unwarranted, but I'll just carry an axe and use the Lady for light work. I should be getting a 1/8 Bushfinger here in the next month or two (one that's posted in this thread actually ;) ), and I think that will pair very nicely with a folding saw as a do it all woods combo.

thats funny

earlier today i just picked up one of the 2 (3/32") Bushfingers( that I could find) talked about in this thread.

:D Nice! I don't know why I've put off buying a Bushfinger for so long... they're awesome.

Yes they are. As nice as mine is, I'm going to use it. I have full confidence in this tool and the warranty behind it. Think about how hard some push their moras, and some of them are on 2mm thick.

I know! But Moras aren't nearly as nice! It's all psychological but it gives me excuses to buy more. :D

That's a beautiful ironwood example, Luca!

Thank you. My original obsession was with ironwood, though now it's expanded to bog oak, and of course osage orange. Oh and about 5 other materials as well.

Ahhh...but Bob knew this, and hence I caved. But I do so love my Ironwood knives.

Ironwood is an elite material. Tough as hell and beautiful contrasting colors. Tony's new BF has some of the prettiest grain I've seen.

Bushfingers are not meant to open nuts, just sayin'.
