Morning y'all!

Awesome work on the cigarbox dude! I've been thinking about making a cigar box uke. Problem is I don't play guitar, lol!

Got tomorrow off, gonna take my dad and go fishing for a few hours in the morning.

Make it great!

^ Thanks again guys!

I've always liked the Fender Jazz or P-bass... the Gibson style shorter scale LP style are cool too. I had just started playing bass in a band in St.Thomas before I moved.

Good morning guys! I'm posting the prybars up in a sec...

I had a P and Jazz Bass and really liked the Jazz. A guy bought it and never paid me the balance. My first bass was a Gibson EBO. Yes, that was a very cool bass. My bass now is an Ibenez Micro, in Orange. It's a punchy lil bass. So, you are with the 6 string again, Daniel?

Thanks X! Build one! ukes are a lot of fun to play, the tuning makes them somewhat intuitive to learn. I snagged a few over the years that all need major work and will eventually restore one from the parts.

Nice! Yes the Jazz is my favorite. I have a lyte one that needs new electronics, it is awesome. I'm a big fan of Ibanez too and had to look up your bass, I like it! My first guitar restore was an Ibanez Strat copy that I scalloped the fingerboard on... lol it is plywood and I stained it to a natural finish... it must have had 5 paintjobs and was originally hot pink... EVH style with the one pickup.

I'm playing a bit of guitar lately, I have always liked putting together songs and riffs...have never gotten very good but I really enjoy it. I'm usually playing my Stratocaster... cheapie import copy but chosen from literally 1000's I have played. Almost all of my guitars are very low budget ones because that is what I like collecting... especially and old American made stuff like Danelectro, Silvertone, etc. lol they aren't budget style anymore!

What kind of stuff do you play Rolf?

Goooood morning DFKer's!!!!
D, killer job on the cigar box axe!
I play guitar too... we still need to start that DFK band!
Have a groovy day!

I have a rosewood Yamaha guitar my Dad bought for me when I was in high school. Maybe we should start a DFK band! :D

Daniel! I play, practice! lol! I need to get at it again asap. The last time I played it was with a trio who played a mix of classics. root, 3rd and 5th. lol!! This was a loooong time ago.
Ben- Do you play?

Understood, bud-e boy! ^
btw, my Fender Jazz was the Jazz special model. It had a toggle in where the bass could play P-Bass sound or Jazz sound. That was a cool bass!

Morning dudes!

Day off and it's time to to fishing! Just me and my dad today.

I wonder, any of y'all familiar with rifle triggers? I need to decide between a Timney trigger or a Dayton Traister for my 1917. I've used Timney before but I've heard good things about Dayton Traister though I have never used or installed one.

Anyways, you better make it a great day, don't just try to have one!

Speaking of rifles... :D The PA Game Commission is in the red. Front page news. The times, they are a change'n.
Hi DFerz!!

PA is a strange state for gun/game laws, NFA friendly state, but no semi-auto allowed for hunting?

Rolf, you a long gun guy?

Morning guys,

Xander, I have heard of Timney but I actually never used one so I got not input other than what the interwebz says. I'm more familiar with putting together AR variants. I am deciding on whether to build a bolt action 308 or just do an ar-10 style 308 for hitting steel.

Also, hopped back on my sewing machine the other day and cranked out a rough watch strap and a pen/utility case. I really need to step up my machine to maybe a sailrite ultrafeed so I can stitch easily through all the canvas layers I'm trying to do.

guhhhh mornin' ..... so sleeeeepy...must drink more coffee...... thud.
D, that SRV vid is the cat's pajamas!

wife made river mud coffee... she makes it so I vibrate.. and after doing a soccer for kids quiz (I'm my kids team manager) for 45mins, I feel dizzy O_O

4 days with the house to myself! Risky Business style here I come! :D

Yo! I've been so busy it's not even funny... paperwork and heat treat at the same time has kept me running! :D

I have 4 small A2 fixed blades ready for quench in about 5 minutes and 5 folder blades in a dry ice/alcohol slurry for sub zero before temper. The RF2 blades are going into temper in just a few minutes and then the A2 will go straight from plates to water then the dry ice slurry for max conversion of good knifey stuff.

Busy is business and you're a business man! :D

Sounds like rocket science keep them coming, D!
