It ain't evening yet Rofl!

Just got home from the match, posted my personal best score yet and finished one point put of paying place! Cleared one stage as well! I'm really happy how the gun ran, only had to tweak a couple things to work with my new load I'm shooting, but the gun managed to hold under 5" at 500m in an alternating and oscillating wind! I was very happy with it! Now to just do the most minute fine tuning on my load, bullet seating depth, neck tension, primer brand, neck wall thickness, etc. All the little stuff. I might even switch over to my balance beam scale and ditch the digital, just to be sure my powder charge is exactly the same. I just love the minutiae of this stuff.

Kev, that Gerber is extra awesome! Those old Gerber were some of my first favorites. I still want a first Gen Gerber Applegate Fairbairn fighting knife, those are really awesome!

Daniel, you should make an A-F fighter!!! I'd totally snatch it up!

Sounds like damn fine shooting. Nice work, X!

Daniel - I'm trying very hard to figure out how to get that boot dagger from you.

Thanks Liam, the thing that made me feel really good is that no perfect scores were posted today, not even a cleaned course with no bonuses! So I was right there in the running with everybody else. Just 4 points out of first, but the competition is tight. My dad and I are going to try and get out pair of 6mm's up and running for a 3x600 bullseye match next month too. I haven't shot a bullseye match in a long time, where every shot is scored, not just hit or miss. The 6mm should do really well at 600 yards, I'm just a little nervous to stretch it out to 1K! That's a good long way out there, over half a mile! Only to shoot at a 10" x-ring.

Hope y'all are making it a most excellent day!!! Tequila at my place if any of y'all want to stop by and play some classic Mario!

Cool stuff and I'm glad you did well!

That Gerber is just killer, classic design.

A-F Fighter, I like it!

Just let me know and it's yours, we can work something out if you want it. :)

tequila!

Cool on the NES, I have a blast with mine.

I've done a bit of .22" target shooting at (I think) 50 feet. I taught canoe lessons and there was a range within walking distance... with all of the bullets I could shoot for free!

I was supposed to heat treat my S7 KCT's yesterday and even got the kiln cranking... started working on a folder and was gone all day on it. I got in my new tooling and after some work (on the tooling!) got a RF2 with bearings going! It's just silly smooth even with the pivot cranked tight.

hoping one of the next folders are some kinda of green or blue shade so I can finally own one...trying to resist any other knife purchases for now lol

Please make more gambler knives, Daniel.
Tantos are next though! :D

I'm listening! The latest RF2 is coming along nicely...

Top'O!!
I gots boot knife fever!!!
:D

Get your boots on Rolf! :D

I got loads of work done on folders yesterday... I will be working on fixed blades and S7 KCT's today. :D

I think every red blooded american should own a lever action 30-30!! They are just all around great guns, reliable, accurate out to a reasonable distance and a great brush gun. I take one stomping through the thick stuff during deer season of I get tired of sitting on the stand.

Mornin' y'all! It's my Saturday ! My folks found out though so I am heading over to their house to work on my Step Dad's truck.
Shop time later tonight though.
Rolf, are they cowwwwwwboy boots? :D

^ I have some tempeh nunchucks coming out you may like. :D

Just in, lol I need food! Tempeh sounds freakin' good.... how about some knives to cut it with! Today I ground 6 Nakago fixed blades in A2 from a 4' bar to beveled and ready to heat treat knives! They are looking good. I'll have those S7 KCT's and more finished up soon too, I just need to find a time to get into the final finihing room (kitchen :D ) and etch them.

Howdy y'all!

Happy hump day! Although my week is going to be brutal, it's the final week before my dept moves, so we have been short staffed while others are getting things prepped, new equipment showing up daily at the new location, plus they don't want volume to drop. Oh well, if it was easy work wouldn't be a four letter word....

Make it great!

Hey everyone! Latcho divvus! Hope you are all well.

X - Is your commute changing with the department move? I seem to recall it being a relatively easy bike ride currently.

Liam , X used to be able to wheelie to work.....and he sucks at wheelies. :D
X, how did that match go?
