6 more knives ground from 2 big bars of S7 today... 3 .315" mini pocket cleavers, 2 .25" S7 Kiridashis and a Hartsfield inspired Strongboy style tanto in S7. I also heat treated them... 7:30 am - 7:30 pm today. Knives yo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I currently work approx 250 feet from my front door. I will be working approx 5.5 miles from home now, longest commute I've had in years!

Match went ok for me, posted my personal best score and only one point out of paying place. I had my turret come lose on the first string, so as I was dialing in more elevation it just began to free spin! I left 3 standing on that string, next one I cleaned 10 for 10, then posted 2 9's on the remaining stages and one bonus target at 300 meters. It was a 4" square.

I really can't wheelie well at all....I was more into trail riding when I was young rather than spending hours practicing wheelies and jumps like the rest of the kids on the block. Kevin is old enough to wheelie because they hadn't invented the two wheeled cycle yet when he started riding!


Just got done carving pumpkins with little dude, he got to draw his own and then make an honest attempt at carving it. Ended up having mom finish it, but exactly as he drew it!

Nope but it's going to be cool! :D S7 as mentioned and will have a clean looking epoxy soaked paracord wrap.

I'm working on some fixed blades in A2 today... ~62 RC, ground thin, rounded spine, neck or in pocket carry... budget priced and the model is... wait my coffee is ready! :D :p

5.5 miles Xander... not very close but here in CO it is further to my mailbox and back. :eek: 6.5 miles to the box round trip! And no TV or cellular lol. I need to move closer to town. :D

I'm sore... that was a lot of knives today! It was a really good one though, things are looking nice.
 
D, we have rec. here now too... about 5 stores in town. Apparently Oregon's first week blew Colorado's out of the water O_O

2.5miles to the first business here for me. Then another 1mile to more... not too bad, but feels like we are in the boonies..

Oldest boy is being a total pain in the ass so I had to teach him a hard lesson about being a brat... defending his younger brother about toys... f'ing TOYS... cause so much drama around here.. stupid. I want to break them =x The toys... :D

Yay it's almost Friday... rain and halloween.. last soccer game... November Rain.
 
It's amazing how much simpler things were at that age... I had to go back to little dudes school after I dropped him off because the school called. He was crying that he didn't want to wear his costume anymore and was refusing to go into class. A yard duty found him huddled up in a corner behind some trash cans crying! I felt really bad for the kid, apparently he wasn't being made fun of, but some older kids were teasing and making fun of each other and he didn't want it to be him next. Poor kid was really upset. Got him changed and he had a great day at school after that.

Picked up an old GI issue A2 butt stock for a M16 on the bay the other day, got it today and it is beat! The plastic is nearly toast as it's very oxidized and I've been experimenting with it tonight to try and bring it back. I may just end up painting it, but I've also been considering covering it in carbon fiber because, carbon fiber! I'd have to check the regs to see if that is considered legal for high power competition though as that's what this stock is designated for. My new build is going to be a classic A2 rifle.

Making it great no matter what!

Rolf, more tantos are planned for the year! I'm going to release my Ti Backpacker Kwaiken as soon as I can. It's the only large fixed blade run I will likely do this year. I'll likely release another KCT design and want to make folders with the rest of my time.

My RF2 with bearings is just nuts, lol I lost one of my bearing sets but it will be completed soon. Mega RF2 too! I finally got my counterbore situation figured out so when I get more hardware folders are on!

I mentioned a fixed blade signup and just got too busy to post it... I have 6 Nakago fixed blades in A2 almost ready to go, they are looking outstanding. Pics soon!

Busy day here and trick or treating tonight! I'm taking Princess Sophia the First and a walking Pumpkin with me! :D :D :D
