Sounds like we are in for some sweeeeeet knives, D. Those pry bars are looking great and that S7 is the perfect steel for them.
 
Lots of goodness up on D's web site. I want one of those prybars, but don't imagine I have a use for them (not that we need an excuse, right!). How sharp are the ends of them... "screwdriver" or "chisel"?

The prybars and pry KCT's come in really handy, I have a Nakago Pry KCT that gets a lot of use. I leave a nice screwdriver width tip for prying but they could be sharpened and still hold a great edge.

morning guys, i was rigging up some small motors and heating pads for the next phase of the experiment.
Man, I was trying to see if i could turn the bodine motor plus a jacobs chuck with a speed controller to a drill press of some sort lol

I have loads of steel to forge coming in... look out for something big! Today I'm catching up on a lot... yesterday was Jade's last day of pre=school this year so a big day for her and fun for us. Knives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool!! Is that a type of gear motor... they are nice! I have a video on turning one into a lapidary disc sander.
 
Wife says coffee is making me irritable... F!Q HER! :D :D jk... Coffee just before 1pm.. late as I can do it, as I need to be in bed by 9pm or I am not a happy morning camper...

Sunny today, going back outside to pull weeds, and add compost to the potatoes.

Hope everyone is enjoying some good weather and outside time too!

Sloth I had coffee at around 9pm sunday night and I was dead yesterday. I usually wake up around 530am and I had a massive headache entire yesterday. Gotta remember no coffee after 4pm :p
