Plans? Unfortunately, no shop time. Have stuff planned all evening tonight and all day tomorrow. Then Sunday is Mothers' day.Plans? Mostly helping my 4-yr old treat Mrs. fromMT right on Mothers' day.

would ya look at that post time........Craaaaazy huh? :p Getting ready to go to a bike ride for our local bike coalition. It still boggles my mind why road cyclists like to start rides at the butt crack of dawn.
Latron homies.

Hahaha! Kevin, I'd be amazed of you woke up that early rather that just stay up that late! I was up by then too.

Gotta work today, hope y'all make it great!

34 prybars and two knives have been started from 5 bars of steel... they are looking good!

I'm too tired to type anything else... :D

How's that stuff for vegetation? Maybe it'll help make things grow haha.

Anytime dude. You are the hardest working man in Knifemaking!

I totally underestimated how large the saw would be in my mill. I couldn't reach the handle! I came up with what was probably an AWFUL workaround but it worked haha.

Hope you all had great weekends! We had some beautiful weather which was way overdue. Almost a week of rain and clouds.

I had to think about that and see what you mean! I wonder if you could offset it from an angle plate? that would work about the same though...

I was just looking into slitting saws, interesting stuff. How do you like yours?

I've seen some guys cut the lock by attaching the knife to a 1-2-3 block and pushing it by hand into the blade. Looking good B!

Good morning guys! I took a family day off yesterday and it's back on like Donkey Kong! :D

Hey all,
Go crush it this week.

I get some shop time tonight so planning on making lotsa chips and sander dust.

Peace,
TR

This was the first time I've used the slitting saw before. So far so good! 132tpi .030". iirc it's what Burch recommended. I'll still have to use the jewelers saw but not much.

How's that higher performance S7 D? :)

How did the shop time go T?

Bobby those S7 prybars are looking good, thanks for asking! I need pics up here. I was amped to see they had made the cover photo for the Prybars group on FB. I heat treated yesterday.

Your folders are looking killer!!!

Liam I really like the Kickstarter project, talk about great looking! Very classic and will not be dated.

Sloth I'm gonna start charging you paypal fees and stuff. If i'm drinking a soda while I list my knives it's a dollar more too. I'm also gonna start charging for supplies and shop tools cause I hafta use them to make stuff. Oh wait double rainbow!

I started up a slipjoint last night... had done heat treating all day with almost 5O items and it was quite a lot to do... so the slippy was a lot of fun! I'm just winging it which I highly do not recommend. :D

Had a rough night. I was in the middle of sawing through the second lockbar when one of my mill's handles fell off! The vibration must have loosened the nuts holding it on. I put it back on, tightened but forgot the one I was tightening was controlling the direction of the saw. Notably, pushing the saw into the titanium handle >_>

Shattered my line saw. Easy come, easy go I guess. Going to give .032" chop saw's a shot.

D 50 heat treat items? You're primed to open your own heat treat division, lol! Let me know and I'll switch to you. You're faster then Peters!

How did the shop time go T?

Great! I made some stabilized walnut and maple handles for a couple of fixed blades I have and posted pictures on the fan page on Facebook - now I'm swamped with guys who want 'em for their knives. It's amazing how fast a few hours goes when you are head down and locked in the shop. Great problem to have ;)

Liam, your Kickstarter looks sweeeeet!
Bobby, that blows about the line saw... I bet they are not cheap.
RED TANTO DAGGERS!!!!!!! :D
